The staff at the hotel where very nice people. They were eager to please and deliver the best service they could. The hotel is a short walk to the beach with good shops on the way. The shuttle bus is run from the hotel to the town which is not very far, about 3 km. Rooms are big and comfortable.... more

Stayed at this hotel on a tour. Not bad location. Walking distance to the beach, but far from town. more

Apart from the fact that this hotel is in the middle of nowhere, the staff seemed to be the unfriendliest I ever encountered. The receptionists just stared at us, answered one-word replies and even spoke only when spoken to. The breakfast was a one-way ticket to diarrhea-hell. After one night, we checked out ASAP and they even "forgot" to give... more

I think people are reviewing this hotel on the basis it is some 5 star resort. It is not, it is a 3 star hotel set some 3kms away from Hoi an yet only 500m to the most amazing beach in the area. Which pretty much is exactly as it describes itself. The building is ancient, but looks very good.... more

Pro's - nice pool and friendly staff. Looks a grand affair when you approch it. Free wi fi in the lobby and one machine for guest use. Con's- Not very close to the town, dark old fashion rooms ( the owners need to spend some money) a/c didn't work very efficiently, breakfast was buffet of luke warm item or cakes.... more

This hotel is a gem in the rough. From the outside, it may not look like much, but you will be amazed at what you find in the inside. The hotel has an antique elegant charm to it with a beautiful attention to detail. The room we stayed in was a suite with 2 ornate king sized beds decorated with... more

We stayed here for 4 nights and it was one of the better hotels we stayed in Vietnam. For the price we paid (AUS $39 / night), it definitely exceeded expectations. The hotel staff were more than accommodating, and the hotel was very clean and well appointed. Even though it is situated 4km out from the main tourist centre, the... more

Didn't mind the setting but, it's a long way to the Hoi An township - OK for the beach though. Room was a riverview suite - large but no safe, coffee making facilities or radio. The internet access room was an absolute "hotbox" (no a/c) with only one of three PC's working (staff just shrugged their shoulders when this was... more

We were supposed to stay at this hotel for 3 nights but left after one. Booked a suite which was very large and initially we were impressed. However, on closer inspection, this hotel was very rundown with many problems - bathroom was in poor condition, knobs came off shower door, trickle of hot water, tiles broken/cracked. Air conditioning was very... more

A truly outstanding location... at a bend of a river, so you wake up and see water all around. Rooms also quite large and reasonably priced. Service also tried hard (fresh fruit daily; has bikes etc on tap). A short walk (15 mins) to beach along the river. However, property is clearly undermanaged and needs some investment: - rooms were... more
