Recently spent 3 weeks in Vietnam and stayed last 5 days at the Golden Sand Resort. Beautiful location right on beach with giant swimming pool. My wife and I had a wonderful time. Room was great, service was very accomodating, especiall the manager Ms. Moon. She was very helpful. The chef was from Bali. One night we enjoyed a fantastic... More

This was a nice hotel, very comfortable and staff friendly. Restaurant staff not very attentive for breakfast buffet however one can get over that. Rooms had lots of space and bathroom was huge. Nice balcony and great pool area for resorting. Shuttle bus could have been at more suitable times for dinner however once can get over that as well

We stayed here for 4 nights and it was like a ghost town every day. The staff were not helpful or friendly. We asked for help with our luggage when we checked out and just before getting in the taxi to leave found that our luggage was still waiting outside the door of the room. The restaurants were so expensive... More

Booked an "ocean view room" which had no view of the ocean and stank of damp furnishing. To get an ocean view I had to upgrade @ $80.00 + Tax Extra per night. This was apparently a discounted rate, was offered originally at $100.00. I believe the Ocean Front room I ended up with is in excess of $500.00 per... More

Don't stay, save your money! Our room smelled bad, the mini-bar was half full, the room service food was terrible, the kids pool pirate ship was rusty, the whole place was like a ghost town when we arrived...in short, I felt like I was in a bad movie. THe next morning, we woke up, walked 10 mins down the beach... More

This is the worst hotel experience I've had in all of Southeast Asia. The service was terrible and no where close to that of a 5-star hotel, nor worthy of its 5-star room rates. A complete rip off.

I can only assume that travellers on this site that rate this hotel well have never stayed in a 4/5 star hotel before. This hotel was appalling. The main reasons I don't rate this hotel are, the accommodation is very substandard, the hotel is hugely over priced for what you get, the service is really, really bad and the food... More

We stayed over the New Year's holiday - the end of the rainy season and were hit by a monsoon - not the fault of the hotel. The food was good, but not a lot of variety, and a lot of strange rules. Strange rules like, "you need to go to the western restaurant to get that" -even though there... More

We spent 10 days at this hotel and don't regret it at all. Trailfinders got us a great rate for our honeymoon and we wanted a beach section in our honeymoon but also where we could go into somewhere like Hoi An for dinner. Private beach and pool are amazing. Pool bar for drinks was great too. Happy hour (or... More

Although it is a nice property at prime location, the service definately at 2 stars level. The breakfast buffet is less variety than a coffee shop in Berlin. They cancelled the dinner buffet in last minute without informing the guests nor apology. The construction is going on everywhere, by the pool, next to my room, in the lobby from early... More
