We stayed for 5 nights for US$100 per night nett. Strangely, the rates on their website were not as good as the one I was offered by email when I contacted the reservation department. I cannot comment about the condition of the other rooms but our deluxe room on the ground floor looked newly renovated and was in good condition.... More

Really, a very beautiful hotel with a fantastic location. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. The showers were high enough for me to shower comfortably (I'm 6'2" / 1.88m). The only issues I had were: the wireless internet was not working in my room (attempted to connect with two different computers) and the ridiculous wait we had checking out... More

We stayed at this hotel during Christmas with our young daughter. The location is excellent. Direct access to a beautiful white sand beach. There is a beautiful infinity edge pool which is huge with kid's pools at each end. The resort seemed to be in need of a revamp and renovation. The cost covered the location but not the quality... Swiss Bel Hotel Golden Sands Resort and Spa. Without doubt this is one of the greatest I have stayed at. Go to their website at www.swiss-belhotel.com and go to the Golden Sands Resort Ho Ann Vietnam link. I am sure the pictures will be self explanatory to you. The pool itself is over 200 metres long. The beach is crystal... More

I have stayed here 3 times now and always had a fabulous holiday. The Pool is Amazing and the beach is gorgeous. The staff are so so lovely, warm and friendly. I really don't know why some people give it bad reviews. Yes if you look closely a curtain might be rotting a tiny bit, or a lampshade is a... More

What you pay, is what you get! Brilliant in every way, even the local food served in the two restaurants. The resort is quiet, massivly impressive - and pretty expencive by vietnamese standards. We went off-season, mid september, had fantastic weather, and just a few aussies.

We spent our 7 glorious days at this beautiful resort and cannot speak anymore highly of it. This was our honeymoon and we were treated as queen & kings. The staff were so friendly and approachable and would littelraly do anything for you. You were always greated with a smile wether it was the gardner, room service or any other... More

Stayed at the Golden Sands for 4 days. 4 days too long! Service at check in is slow and not attentive. We were given over looking the staff quarter and the old tennis court. The room was filthy and stains on the walls. The bathroom hadnt been cleaned properly after the previous guest had checked out. I asked to change... More

we checked into the Golden Sands after 4 days at Life Resort in the Ancient Town. There can be no doubt that the views from the lobby out to the pool and the beach and ocean beyond are second to none and we felt like we were in heaven. this place is totally spectacular. Considering it is almost double the price of other great 4 star resorts and Hotels , you would expect the best service possible in Hoi An. However this is not the case. Slow check in, we were in the furthest room in the place, perhaps because we got a cheap rate through expedia and not the exorbitant desk rate. Rooms... More
