We visited hoi an in December with my wife and two children (age 14 & 11). Ancient house was the perfect place for us, great arrangement of rooms, swimming pool and spa, ok restaurant. They have bicycles for guests and the location is ok just outside the old town. More

No glitz, glass and glamour resort here - this place is a large boutique traditional Viet style affair. Capable reception staff offer good quick check-in with welcoming towel and drink. This little privately owned hotel nestles in a side street just out of the main town. We were on motorcycles and parking being at a premium it had to be booked.
