We stayed at this hotel for seven nights in the same room as the people that were troubled by the rooster. It was a suite with two rooms and backed onto the "residential area"? that they talk about. We stayed with friends at the Ancient House and found it to be a great place to unwind after the hustle of shopping in Hoi An. The swimming pool was excellent and the staff were friendly without being in your face. stay was supposed to be for 5 nights by typhoon Ketsana changed that went to airport to depart and flights cancelled called back hotel and they immediately rebooked us we returned received welcoming smile and got or original rooms back. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were clean, if you wanted something they would arrange it. Even sent a parcel home, when we asked the concierge where the post office was she told us to sit down and 3 minutes later a postman came with different size boxes, found the one to suit us and then put it together... more

Just finished up a stay at this beautiful hotel. Nicely decorated- the idea is there of it being a modern hotel with an ancient feel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was nice- we came late one morning as they were closing it down but insisted on feeding us anyways. Location was perfect- between the old town... more
