Lovely architecture with lots of beautiful wood. Location is outside of town, but the green taxi (we were advised to only take the green taxis) into central Hoi An for four people cost $1.80. Not a problem. There are several buildings making up a small hotel compound. There is a bridge over a pond in the middle. Also lots of... More

Stayed here for 2nights. Rooms were very nice and AC working well! Staff were so friendly and pool very good. Bad points. Far from the old quarter and shuttle busses don't run often enough! Our first night was booked by a previous hotel we stayed at. There was an issue when they were booking. Tunes out the room was only... More

From their friendly welcome, to their attention to every detail of our comfort, Lotus Hoi An Boutique Hotel and Spa was a delightful experience. Breakfast buffet was an array of endless temptations and the shuttle bus to the historic center was a nice touch.

This hotel was a little far removed from central Hoi An, but they all may be. Spent 3 delightful nights here. Loved the decor and the landscaping, which I was also able to enjoy from the balcony in my room. WiFi was spotty, but worked well from my balcony or even with the balcony door open. Staff was quite accommodating,... More

I really enjoyed my stay at the Lotus. It has beautiful buildings and grounds, the rooms were lovely with nice spotless bathrooms and the large pool was a fantastic place to spend time, whether swimming or just chilling out on deck chairs. I found the staff to be very friendly and check-in/out was a breeze. The free use of free... More

The Lotus Hotel is not in the centre of Hoi An, neither is it on the beach. It is half-way between (a 50 000 dong cab ride from the old town). The rooms were nice, though could do with a power switch in the wall beside the bed. We had the honeymoon suite, which came with a free dinner (very... More

I concur with much of the commentary by other guests at the Lotus Hoi An. Given the architecture of the complex, some rooms get far less direct light than others. Upon arrival, I asked to be moved to a lighter room, but none were available. But it turned out to be a quickly faded disappointment. We spent three very comfortable... More

Before leaving India I had checked about this hotel and it just matched with the reviews. The pathway leading to the quarters is photogenic. there is a cool swimming pool behind. The rooms are specious with laung to chat with friends. There is a vegitable garden on the side. The breakfast spread was good for us vegitarians. They have an... More

How can anyone recommend this hotel? It is impossible for me to understand. Of course, the hotel itself is okay (overpriced but with nice rooms and pool), but it is right next to a temple where they start the soundsystem at 3.30 am and start playing INCREDIBLY loud and irregular music from 7 am onwards. There is simply no way... More

The pool area was the best of the 7 hotels I stayed in Vietnam. Beds were good, rooms big and clean, spa was great, and breakfast had plenty of selection. It isn't in the heart of Hoi An, but our taxi was $3 if you didn't want to wait or take the free shuttle. For the peace and quite, it... More
