This hotel is located in a convenient place near the market and the Can Nam bridge. Rooms are very good - large, clean and well maintained. Staff is quite efficient but not very engaging. Breakfasts, which are outsourced to somewhere nearby, are just average. Overall, reasonable value, but front staff need to be a little less serious.

we arrived on a very windy hot day in our room with view on the riverside! after 2 hours the aircon did not make it! still 30C plus! we complained and the solution they find was to move the remote from 23C to 17C. guess what an hour later same same 30C. we were moved down to another room but... I was disappointed in this hotel because I had the worst night's sleep in all of my travels. The walls are obviously paper thin, as I could hear the guy next door talking then snoring all night long. I could also hear showers and flushing toilets, and the heavy wooden doors made a lot of noise when they were opened... More

We had just the one night stay here as our booking at Huy Hoang Garden Resort was interrupted due to the storm. The staff were friendly and the hotel is in a great location in the heart of Hoi An Ancient Town, but it really can only be described as average. Our room was quite mouldy and smelt bad. Breakfast... Small hotel close to the ancient town centre, next to the market so that it's quite noisy during daytime. Nice decorated room but the lamps are not bright enough. Very small and narrow bathroom. The poorly maintained aircon was a disaster in summer time. The room was as hot as in outside. Delicious breakfast. Nice and helpful staff though. Rate... More

We were somewhat disappointed when we arrived at this hotel as we thought we had treated ourselves to somewhere a bit special (having read good reviews and looked at the place online). For the price paid, obviously for SE Asia, it's excellent value all things considered, but when we compared it to other accommodation we had stayed in during our... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here at the end of July 2014 for two nights. The receptionist who greeted us when we arrived was extremely friendly and helpful, and helped us book a cooking class and told us the main sights to see around Hoi An. The room itself was fairly small but absolutely fine, and the bathroom was a... More

We enjoyed our stay at Huy Hoang. Our room was very, very clean, it was also rather spacious and the bathroom was modern. The beds were bigger than any we have had in SE Asia. They must have been "full" size rather than "twin." They were also more comfortable than most we've experienced. The location is great! A two minute... More

Hoi An isn't the cheapest place in Vietnam as it's very touristic, but this hotel has a very reasonable price (about 20 dollar at high season) for very good accomodation (a very nice, big bathroom) and a top location! The staff helped us with everything: renting a scooter, where to go for good places to eat (Ivory restaurant), etc.

This hotel is excellently located - all the top Hoi An sights are walkable and the beach is a bike ride away! The reception staff were very helpful and helped us with onward travel arrangements. The cleaners, however, were particularly unpleasant and rude. Avoid them if you can...! Breakfast was predictably standard and if you're not a fan of eggs... More
