We had just the one night stay here as our booking at Huy Hoang Garden Resort was interrupted due to the storm. The staff were friendly and the hotel is in a great location in the heart of Hoi An Ancient Town, but it really can only be described as average. Our room was quite mouldy and smelt bad. Breakfast... Small hotel close to the ancient town centre, next to the market so that it's quite noisy during daytime. Nice decorated room but the lamps are not bright enough. Very small and narrow bathroom. The poorly maintained aircon was a disaster in summer time. The room was as hot as in outside. Delicious breakfast. Nice and helpful staff though. Rate... More

We were somewhat disappointed when we arrived at this hotel as we thought we had treated ourselves to somewhere a bit special (having read good reviews and looked at the place online). For the price paid, obviously for SE Asia, it's excellent value all things considered, but when we compared it to other accommodation we had stayed in during our... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here at the end of July 2014 for two nights. The receptionist who greeted us when we arrived was extremely friendly and helpful, and helped us book a cooking class and told us the main sights to see around Hoi An. The room itself was fairly small but absolutely fine, and the bathroom was a... More

We enjoyed our stay at Huy Hoang. Our room was very, very clean, it was also rather spacious and the bathroom was modern. The beds were bigger than any we have had in SE Asia. They must have been "full" size rather than "twin." They were also more comfortable than most we've experienced. The location is great! A two minute... More

Hoi An isn't the cheapest place in Vietnam as it's very touristic, but this hotel has a very reasonable price (about 20 dollar at high season) for very good accomodation (a very nice, big bathroom) and a top location! The staff helped us with everything: renting a scooter, where to go for good places to eat (Ivory restaurant), etc.

This hotel is excellently located - all the top Hoi An sights are walkable and the beach is a bike ride away! The reception staff were very helpful and helped us with onward travel arrangements. The cleaners, however, were particularly unpleasant and rude. Avoid them if you can...! Breakfast was predictably standard and if you're not a fan of eggs... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights in mid-April 2014. Like all of our hotels, we picked it based largely on comments from TripAdvisor. We were extremely disappointed and even tried to move after the first night. Good points • Breakfast was included and although it was adequate I did not like the fact that we were restricted... More

We stayed for 3 nights in this hotel. We booked two rooms as we were travelling with kids aged 13 & 11. When booking I requested 1 Double Room and 1 Twin Room and asked if they could be next to each other or at least on the same floor. On check in, we were told that because of our... More

We were booked into this hotel for 2 nights. Upon arrival, we were given key to room 208. Got in to the room, unpacked our bags so that we could head off to explore our surroundings but noticed that the aircond was not working. Walked back down to reception to inform them & they sent a man up who fiddled... More
