This hotel turned out to be an oasis for us and we were extremely happy with the room, pool, service and location. The downside to the hotel is its breakfast and the thin bath towels. When I went online to write this review I was quite surprised by some of the negative recent reviews and even double-checked to make sure... more

We have traveled widely through SE Asia and 3 nights at the Hoi An Hotel was one of our more disappointing stays anywhere. We had pre-booked a room, but still waited 4 hours for our room to be ready. There was no offer of a drink or any other services. In the end we opened our bags, changed into our... more

It's interesting to read others experiences staying at this hotel - some good; some poor. Ours was definitely poor. When compared with other hotels we've stayed at throughout Vietnam during the last eight weeks, we rate our experience at the Hoi An Hotel poorest of all. Our main complaint was the attitude of the staff. They are simply officious. I... more

During our month in Vietnam, we spent 5 days in the Hoi An hotel as a bit of an indulgence amongst a month of staying in budget hotels. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful, very green with bonsai trees everywhere you look. The pool was great. Our room was nice, with a big comfortable bed and ice-cold A/C. The... more

Nice, upmarket hotel with associated features. Room - big, stylish decor, large bed with princess like mosquito net, large TV (able to rotate to face the couch or the bed = major plus)! Breakfast - buffet style, good selection and quality. Location - a short walk (?7min) into the centre of town, pretty good, close to tailors. Internet very expensive... more

The reviewers who gave this high marks are either paid hotel employees or idiots. I just arrived here. It's the middle of the night and I'm exhausted, but I thought I would write this to get it out of my system. This place is a nightmare. I honestly feel like I'm about to be murdered. Everything about it is creepy.... more

A nice hotel...but dissapointing for us based on our expectations and experiences in other far cheaper hotels further North. Some of the rooms are very noisy and it took us 4 attempts to find a room that was satisfactory...although the staff were accomodating...moreso when we suggested we would go somewhere else. The breakfasts and hotel food is good...and very westernized...but... more

My husband and i stayed here for three days in july. The location of it is second to none and that is exactly why we picked it. If you are looking for top class luxury this is not it but it is a clean hotel, nice pool and big rooms. There is a travel agency on the grounds. We didn't... more

Large airy rooms, all the amenities you would expect, restaurant, pool bar, spa + free internet via PC in the reception + centrally located makes Hoi An Hotel an excellent choice. We were travelling with teenagers (and yes this can be a challenge) but they loved the swimming pool, the size of their room and the cable TV. Its shows... more
