We booked for 5 nights and left after 2 - bed was rock hard, food appalling as many other reviewers have stated. Beautiful gardens but no atmosphere and weird manager who never did anything but hover around our table at breakfast. Bar at pool never open. Very disappointing stay - also found the location just too far away ( in... More

I'd give 4 stars for the rooms which are attractive, big, clean and fairly comfortable. The view (we had a river view suite) was just lovely. The gardens are beautiful and a credit to the hard working gardener there. It would have been nice to have tables and chairs outside the room so we could enjoy this setting in the... More

This boutique hotel could be so much more as it has a beautiful setting, lovely pool and spacious rooms But these things are overshadowed by the poor service, less than ordinary food that some members of my family had for lunch. In addition, many foods on the Menu were unavailable .The lack of towels at the pool and a very... More

We recently stayed at the bamboo village in hoi an,it's located down a little side street right on the river,it's in a great quiet spot about a 20 min walk to the shops or about a 2 dollar taxi ride.the rooms are big and spacious...but only has a bath with a hand held shower that you actually had to sit... The hotel is a located half way between Hoi An and Cui Dai beach. The rooms are large and spacious and clean although, as others have mentioned, the lack of a free standing shower is a bit unusual. There is a great pool, one of the reasons we choose the hotel, and a nice lawn leading down to the river.... More

Just left and must report that my iPhone was stolen from a locked room I assume by a staff member. Safe was not operationable.Management were slow and hesitant to act and police only arrived at my very strong insistence. No return of phone or much acknowledgement by management. As reported by another reviewer staff are very under trained and food... More

Staff  here were friendly. Beds Hard. Food in their restaurant was good. We stayed 4 nights so we got one free meal for all of us one night - nice touch.  Laundry was expensive. Breakfast great. Gardens and pool relaxing. Pool  closes at 6 pm which at first we thought was very early but turned out to make sense as... More

I just stayed at the Hoi An Bamboo Village Resort about a week ago. The hotel itself is very nice. I had a pool view room on the second floor and it was a huge room with very nice fixtures. The pool is very nice as well is the location right on the river. Well, actually, the location is good,... More

5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2012

We have stayed at the hotel for 4 nights in March. The place is great, we enjoyed the most its perfect location just halfway between the coast and the town. Renting a bike is cheaper than getting one drink at the hotel bar, so really handy and what a great way to discover this wonderful town. The place is great,... More

We have just stayed at the Bamboo Hotel for four nights in March. As previously stated the shower is not good when it is hand held, especially trying to wash your hair. The room service is hit and miss...why because every day they forgot something like facewahers, bath mat, shampoo etc. the lights are too dim. Cobwebs in the corner... More
