Silly of me to try to reserve a room two days before the holidays... The other hotels were fully booked and I had to drag myself to Minh Quang. The water heater didn't work and the toothpaste tasted disgusting. The walls were dirty and there was mold, I suppose. Their blanket left me with itchy rashes in the morning. Outside... More

We negotiated a basic room in the middle (just breather window to the aisle) for only 9USD. Good price for the size of bed, comfort, tv and ensuite bathroom. First room smelled strongly like cigarrettes. Changed to one above. Dirty sheets. We alerted, went out and came back several hours later. Hadn't changed. Asked again, waited 15min, nothing...Complained again in... More

5 march 2014 Avoid this cheap hostel... The room are without clean sheet, and smell like horse. It's 11$ but if you wanna stay, you should negotiate the price under 10$. I slept one night in a windowless room. And slept til 7am cuz the hostel is very noisy... Ok it's cheap but.... Up to you...

I really have nothing but to say about this hotel. First of all its very cheap, the rooms are spacious, clean, come with air con, in our case even with a balcony and even a little fridge. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and most of all extremely patient with our group of six young dudes. It doesnt serve... More

One of the staff is pretty good at speaking English and friendly enough. No food served at hotel and minibar was not plugged in. Location is good but best pay a dollar or two more for one of the many superior hotels in town.

A very good value for money hotel with basic but clean rooms, friendly and helpfull staff. Ok for a few days while you visit the beach and get stuff made. Some staff dont speak brilliant english but are still very polite and do their best to help.

We stayed here for a week over the new year period. The staff were friendly enough the first couple of days then became what I can only describe as rude. Our rooms wasn't cleaned even after I asked repeatedly. I ended up cleaning it myself. Most importantly, when we went to check out the woman at reception refused to accept... More

We arrived in hoi an and found it to be a town built for tourists to shop.... that's not for us. We would have left immediately but we'd just got of a long night train and wanted to rest. After looking around town for a cheap room and failing we were on our way to the bus station when the... More
