Very party atmosphere hostel. My dormmates would come home at 4am every night without fail and make boatloads of noise and then sleep till 1pm and do it again! It was not particularly clean. It's located about a 10 minute walk from the city centre. Probably the worst hostel I stayed at during my trip. They also overcharge for buses... More

If you actually want some sleep avoid this place, we booked for three nights but left after one, we had a better sleep on the seats on the overnight train, it's not a Hotel no matter what the sign says, it's a hostel full of 20 year old mongrels with no regard for anyone in the whole buildings sleep, the... Only hostel game in town, so I guess they can afford to be lackluster. Bad wifi, not a great location, and a party hostel. Staff is rude. No place for luggage to be stored, so all the bags just sit in the lobby unsecured. Breakfast is good, though!

and you may ask yourself "Self, could there possibly be a hotel in Hoi An catered to cheap backpackers with a large appetite for breakfast"? Well, look no further, you've found the one. This place was perfect for my girlfriend and I. It was convenient to bike downtown or to the beach, the pool area was awesome, the room was... More

Stayed here 4 nights. It's a party hostel so don't expect peace & quiet. Largely younger crowd but a great place to meet people nevertheless. They can pick you up from bus station for free which is great and the breakfast is the best I've had yet in Vietnam (included in bed price). Staff at reception are great & fun,... More

You get really good value for what you pay for. The rooms are comfortable and the showers are hot. I had a great time here from meeting other travelers. The downstairs lounge area is fantastic for relaxing. The restaurant and lounge area was great as well although it was raining while I was there. The only downside is that it's... More

Not only did I have a very pleasant stay at the sunflower hotel which was clean, friendly, reasonably priced with a pool an great atmosphere and free hurtle from the bus station, but the staff also showed better understanding of what customer service really is than I have seen in all of Asia. In this situation, I had left Hoi... More

Other travellers recommended me to stay at the sunflower hotel en i wish i hadn't listen to them. I like partying and being social but they just take it to another level here. People getting drunk at 10 am, screaming through the hallways, having sex in the bed below me in the dormroom, young and unrespectfull people who turn on... More

I have no complaints. The rooms were nice and clean; the staff friendly; and the location was great. We just walked across the road and rented bicycles to get to and from the city center and the beach. The breakfast buffet was amazing and the pool/bar was a great place to meet other travelers. I'd definitely stay again!

The good reviews for this place are justified if you're looking for a very sociable hostel and don't mind incredibly noisy rooms (or corridors) and bathrooms that don't get cleaned. I stayed for three nights and upon arrival, the shower was so full of hair that the bathroom flooded into the dorm when anyone used it. We reported this to... More
