Dorms are about $9 a night so it's not too bad as Hoi An is pretty expensive in general. Location is okay being about a 10-15 minute walk to the central market and old Japanese Bridge and around 4km to the nearest beach. Restaurant outside to the left is amazing for a decent price as well! :)

Don't be fooled by people saying It's loud and they can't sleep, The bar by the pool shuts at 10pm and everyone leaves to go to other bars or clubs! The rooms aren't the best in Asia but pretty clean with a balcony. We found the cleaning ladies kept using our room to empty mop buckets into the toilet, forgetting... More

This hotel was perfect for any backpacker wanting a relaxing and very enjoyable stay. Great and very helpful staff, an awesome pool and garden bar and loads of travelers. It's in a perfect position, equidistant from the beach and the beautiful old town. I highly recommend this hotel for any traveller.

Stay here if you want to go out for your whole stay in hoi an. The hotel itself is fine and the breakfast is nice but unless you want to be involved with the party atmosphere 24/7 it's not a good choice. It's super noisy at night because of the bar downstairs making it really hard to sleep, we haven't... More

Fairly average backpacker hotel. We have a private with aircon, nice clean room with aircon, stay was good. Breakfast was excellent, included, great variety, very filling buffet, pool was nice and common area was happening and fun with lots of people mingling. Bikes and cycles for rent right outside hotel was perfect and cheap, the hotel is located pretty much... More

Sunflower is great for backpackers. If you are solo it's a great spot to meet others. The staff are hilarious and cheeky (in a good way). The breakfast buffet is HUGE and even of you are not rating there it is only 3$ and I'd highly recommend it. The pool an outdoor bar (with pool table) is a great bonus... More

I'd definitely recommend Sunflower Hotel. The rooms are very nice but what really makes this place is the atmosphere - it's a fantastic place to meet new people and everyone is very friendly and fully engaged in the travelling atmosphere, facilitated by a nice bar and pool area. The food varies from quite nice to horrendous so be careful what... More

I had a boy come into my dorm at 5 am drunk saying my bed was his. So they double booked the bed. Then in the morning my phone was stolen. I spent two hours looking and asking and after I luckily had find my iPhone app I found it hidden under a lobby toilet bin. I was the shhhhed... More

The hotel is clean and basic. Nothing wrong with it at all, but the real gem of this place is the staff. Hin, the woman behind the desk, was such a hoot to deal with and hilarious. She made the most basic of daily exchanges with her about bus tickets, laundry, etc. a real joy. There can be somewhat of... More

We stayed in sunflower for 3 nights and had a great experience. The rooms were clean with nice bathrooms. The pool area is great for meeting people and the bar area is where everyone chats a d socialised at night. By far the included breakfast is the best part. A buffet breakfast with fresh pancakes, fruits, cereal, bread and tea,... More
