Good hostel to stay in if you're coming to Hoi An. It's probably a bit over priced and the dorms aren't the cleanest (my bed had sand it in when I arrived) but the backpacking atmosphere is great and the location is perfectly situated between the beach and the old town. Definitely need to rent a moped or a bicycle... More

This hostel was an awesome party place. During the day it was relaxing by the pool and at night the music and drinking was fun. Even though we were in the room right next to the pool/party area, it didn't disturb our sleep at all! The ancient town is walking distance away and the staff is super helpful. Also, they... More

I moved here from an excellent little hostel (Sac Lo) to meet more travellers as I was travelling alone. At Sunflower you do meet more travellers, you can't fail to, it's a big hostel. Positives: -sociable hostel, bar, foyer and pool area make it easy to talk to others. -close enough to the centre and bars -great breakfast -swimming pool!... More

Really good hostel if you want to meet up with drunk British people. I went as with a group of mates so I enjoyed it and the social area is really well set up but If you want to meet people other than brits you probably won't want to go here. Really good breakfast selection though which is all you... More

I am so gutted that I didn't end up staying here. Popped in to see some friends who were staying here and it looks brilliant. The bar is shady, chilled and had a pool table, footie rec, and did decent food. Pool is actually pretty big and its just got a great sociable vibe. I am so gutted I stayed... More

I stayed here in May with 2 other friends. We had been told on many occasions by many other travelers that this was one of "THE" places to stay in Hoi An. I would agree on some points but then I didn't stay anywhere else in Hoi An. We arrived without a booking and the reception staff were jovial and... More

This place is great for backpackers looking to relax and have a few beers during the day. its got a great pool area which is a good place to interact with other travelers. the breakfast is really good when compared with other hostels for backpackers but the trick is to get there before 9 or else all the good stuff... The hotel it's self it between the Hoi An town and the beach, a fair distance between both, but not to far. If you're looking to get around there are loads of places to rent a bicycle for the day or a Ped, or you could walk. The staff are great, the rooms are clean, as well as the bathrooms.... More

The customer service at this hotel is absolutely horrendous. Very aggressive staff working in the bar and one of the ladies who works in the restaurant at breakfast preparing the omelettes and pancakes just blatantly ignores you. Bathrooms in the dorms have probably never been cleaned and I actually witnessed the cleaners just fold the duvet without changing the sheets... More

We stayed here after being told by a number of people it was the best place to stay in Hoi An. I couldn't agree more, and loved staying here. We met lots of people, had a good time around the pool, had lots of fun in the evenings, and thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast, which I made the most of every... More
