The place is alright, the pool is really nice. But it is more like a hotel. They don't have a area where you can meet new people, just some little tables a the pool. An other thing is that it was not really clean. The bathrooms were really dirty. But it is alright to stay for a few nights. It... More

The staff are rude, unhelpful and just really don't care. You are hearded around and stamped on the arm like cows on arrival. Our room was pretty unclean with our sheet having what was clearly a semen stain with some added pube.... Delightful. It's a social hostel but that's really all its got going for it. The locations not that... More

Seriously don't go there. Its no Hotel, more like a lowrent Hostel. The beds had bedbugs and the pool was so dirty I couldn't even see my own feet through the water. The personal was not really helpful and the prices not especially cheap. Safe yourself the trouble.

I'll state the worst it short: dirtiest pool (you could not see your own feet), bed bugs, rockhard beds, no towels, reception only recommends connected businesses (very biased), REALLY dirty rooms (as if nobody had bothered cleaning at all) and a phone got stolen. However, the night was cheap, the people social and the trip to town for free with... More

Everyone seems to be staying or has stayed here, it is very busy and there is plenty to do around the hotel. The room had everything you needed however, the bed sheets had dirt that you could pick off on it so might not have been changed/cleaned between lodgers, the bathrooms were not cleaned very frequently but it is okay.... We had been recommended this hostel by friends who had been previously and loved it. We stayed in a private double room and we experienced no problems. The bed was comfortable and the air con worked fine. They also stocked the fridge with bottled water which saved the effort of having to go the supermarket every day. The pool area... More

This is a great place to meet people. Has a decent pool, with a bar and restaurant. The breakfast was pretty decent also, but the staff really was a buzz kill. The staff just set a weird vibe- everyone kind of walking around rude and pissed off. That being said, the rooms aren't bad, you meet a lot of people... More

Squeaky beds that rocked back and forth was the first annoying thing with the hotel (more of a hostel). Most irritating time was staff coming to clean the room early with young children accompanying them, shouting. Not centrally located - a good 20 minute walk into the town.

This is a very social hotel if you're a backpacker - lots of people out by the pool and lots going on! There's a bar by the pool and a restaurant. If you're vegetarian don't eat here because the staff couldn't understand why I didn't want the old mince meat from the dirty pan in my tofu dish (also this... More

I have stayed in a lot of places on SE Asia but sunflowers was by far the worst deal I have some across. Yes it's got a good atmosphere and nice pool but that's where your value for money stops. Even then the people who stay are beyond control of the management. I found the staff rude and they shouted... More
