I was shocked when we were shown to our rooms in this hotel. Very basic, very 70s, mould covering the walls and ceiling in the bathrooms and intermittent air conditioning. Breakfast was also very basic, basically and egg and fruit! The staff were helpful, but sometimes overbearing trying to get us to book into tours they organise. Were locked out... More

During our three months travelling throughout central Asia, which included many destinations such as Singapore, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Da Nang, Bangkok etc we found this hotel in Hoi An, to be well established, largely upmarket from all others within the same tariff ceiling, providing everything it claims to provided and more, offering a considerably comfortable and pleasant stay.... The Service Persons telled us they will search us a cheap hotel for our next stay. She phoned a lot, also the numbers we give her and telled us that our hotel is not available and costs 23$. After we called them again they telled us a room is available and 5$ cheaper like the hotel the woman wanted to... More

Having stayed in many hotels in Vietnam during our holiday I picked this one because it was in the Lonely Planet guide, I wish I hadn't. The staff were very unfriendly and obviously didn't enjoy their jobs. The room was like being in a cell with a resident cockroach in the bath, the sink was falling off the wall and... More

Ok, so this hotel could be a bit cleaner, but the staff are friendly, Room are Spacious and quiet at night. If you want a decent hotel pay abit more, but for travelling theres nothing wrong to spend a few nights here. Their tours are at a decent rate too!!!

The website is very misleading - it makes this place look really nice - its not. We were supposedly upgraded to their best room as although we had booked in advance they didn't have a room for us and put us in a suite (!). It must have been empty for months, our feet were black with dirt within minutes... More

I also don't know why people are putting this place down. The rooms were nice, prices reasonable and staff friendly. I can see why the staff might be seen as 'pushy' but it's Vietnam!! Everyone wants to make a buck! As long as you know what you want then everything is fine..for example, my partner and I wanted to go... More

we stayed here from the 4th March to the 6th March 2010. Honestly this is the worst hotel that I stayed at but at USD$31 a night I guess that's what I paid for. It was only about a 20 minute walk to the main areas of Hoi An. Check-in was smooth and we were informed that there is always... More

Air conditioner not working properly, hot water sometimes, an old hotel in need of renovation, linen on tables are left dirty, no safe, but documents can be left in secure box with reception, bath is very high, with shower over bath ,has little water pressure and very difficult to actually get wet, foam rubber mattress is very hard. location 20min...
