Terrible dorm room, dirty, damp and mouldy, no ventilation, dirty sheets just grim all round. Feels as though dorm was an after thought to the hotel as a money making idea cashing in on backpackers. WiFi didn't reach dorm even though it was on the bottom floor.

Great place nothing special but decent... Staff accommodated to our concerns and changed our room for another one as there was an error in the original booking. The bar is nice but pricey. The brakefast is great but the food in the restaurant is not.

Not a bad hotel by any measure but was far from a hotel one would return to by choice. The hotel is rather aged and lacks modern amenities one would expect. The price is reasonable for what you are getting which is not much more than a hostel. The breakfast included is nothing to write home about nor are the... More

First of all, if you expect 5 star level luxury and pay 25 dollars a night you will always be dissapointed, hence some of the bad reviews here. Yes the building is old and noisy. The rooms are not marble bathrooms and pristine white sheets. However, we had a great time here. The rooms are simple but cozy. The staff... More

We stayed three nights here. The organised pick up from the airport was a great start. We stayed in a family room which was nice and big. The only complaints we had though were the smell of mould, there were cockroaches and the lack of a safety deposit box. Happy hour was disappointing and a waste of time

I have been in hoi an twice now (I fly into and out of hanoi) and both times I have used green field. Both times the staff have been helpful and willing. Tonight I lost my wallet. I expected it to have disappeared. (having had my phone stolen in sai gon. I took it that everything that's gone is gone... More

We stayed in the new 'villas' part of this hotel, which is newly built at the back of the hotel the villa part seems nice and new but some parts of the room seemed like they had never been used, like a snag list that hadnt been finished. Not all of the plugs worked, the tv didnt have good reception,... More

I went with my wife to hoian and we spent a few night in this hotel and we just recommend it, definitely I would recommend it to my friends and I'll go back. Friendly staff, breakfast included, cheap and nice.
