This hotel was recommended to us by a couple in Hanoi. We were expecting a very cheap stay (it was cheap but not as cheap as expected) and it was supposed to be very central. Turns out the place is below average, costs more than some places in the centre of the old town (across the bridge) and the service... more

This hotel was recommended to me by a local tailor after a less-than-happy experience at another hotel. It is just over a small bridge from the old town with a lovely upstairs balcony breakfast room with a great view of the town and the river. The rooms are the best I have experienced at anywhere near this price in Asia... more
