My wife and I stayed for two nights recently. Sandy was a wonderful host, made sure that we were comfortable, was very helpful generally, and served a great breakfast. The room was charming and spacious. A bonus was the fact that the other guests were lovely and friendly -- we all enjoyed each other's company over breakfast, and then went... More

We stayed just one night in this stately 1909 house, which Sandy graciously accommodated. We chose the Cottage Room, which is charmingly decorated with antiques and period furniture, comfortable and in good taste. A+ for the fab mattress with luxurious linens and the pristine white-tiled bath equipped with a good shower and toiletries. Unlike other older houses, it was quiet;... More

My family has stayed at Hilltop three times now and each visit only gets better! Sandy is so kind and takes great care of her guests. Making reservations is a breeze and she is always helpful with sight seeing and where to eat out for dinner. Coming from Oklahoma to New York could be a bit overwhelming but Sandy has... More

I returned to Hilltop House for the second year in a row for a summer weekend visit and loved it just as much as the first. Sandy and her husband are incredibly kind and thoughtful hosts, especially considering that they have had to deal twice now with my much-later-than-expected arrival on a Friday night from New York City (I'll blame... My husband and I got a two nigh stay at hilltop house B & B as a birthday gift from our son and daughter in law; well they did a very good job. Hilltop house is such a wonderful place, this 1909 Victoria house is unique, elegant, the room is clean, comfortable, and we truly love and enjoy it. The... More

We were looking for a b and b in a country setting but close enough to some of the attractions we wanted to see. Hilltop House was our choice and we were very pleased with our stay. We found so much to do in the area such as the Rails To Trails system a block away, many good restaurants (Red... More

This B&B is located in a quiet residential neighborhood just up the hill from town. The innkeeper, Sandy, keeps it impeccable and stands ready to accommodate every need. Breakfast is served at her dining table and depending on what time you arrive to the table...well you just never know who you might meet. If dining in privacy is a preference... More

Planning for a business trip to the area, my husband chose this B&B as a belated birthday present . . . and it was perfect in every respect. The hosts, Sandy and West, were warm, welcoming, and charming without being intrusive (which is a delicate line they mastered), and helpful in finding restaurants and providing information about the area. The... More

Our last weekend trip of the summer brought us to a BMW event at Lyme Rock, CT. We stayed for 2 nights in this most charming and comfortable B&B.... beautiful surroundings in the quaint little town of Amenia, New York. Lovely rooms, awesome big front porch. Thank you Sandy your delicious breakfasts and for making our stay relaxing and enjoyable.
