Nice hotel, centrally located in Colonia. Small pool with sunbeds. Nice rooms. Hotel has atmosphere, very nice. Poor wifi. The breakfast was really good. The staff is friendly and helpful. Spacious and clean rooms. Absolutely recommended.

Old, but preserved, this hotel has all you need to feel the special atmosphere of Colonia. Located just close enough to everything, with nice porch and small pool with great sun... The staff was nice and the overall experience was very good. Simple breakfast like in every other hotel and note that there is no elevator (there are 2 floors).... More

A lovely old Colonial Mansion that has been upgraded and converted to a wonderful hotel, this Posada is an easy 5 minute walk to the old town. Room was comfortable with a view of the pool area. Super comfy bed. Bath was good. small shower stall. airconditioning. Could use a safe for valuables, although front desk will store them for... More

The posada is centrally located and has a real colonial atmosphere. We got a honeymoon upgrade, which was very kind. The room was spacious and clean. The staff has been helpful and friendly throughout the whole stay. The breakfast is good, small buffet, but was totally enough. We also liked the pool area, great for some relaxing time.

We had a great stay at Don Antonio Posada! The hotel itself is incredibly romantic with a charming courtyard area, swimming pool, and clean rooms. It is located on a quaint colonial street that is a short walk to everything (or short taxi ride for those that aren't big walkers). We'd definitely stay here again on our next visit to... More

Relaxing place to recharge batteries before facing Buenos Aires, quaint colonial town and quaint hotel. We arrived, unknowingly at local carnival, so a little noisy! The breakfast was delicious and location terrific but don't stay on downstairs room near public doorway, a bit of a noisy thorough fare. Breakfasts were terrific.

A Sweet Colonial Excursion We broke up 7 days in Buenos Aires with a two day trip to Colonia del Sacramento and were glad we did. A relaxing one hour ferry ride across the Rio de la Plata on Buquebus let us off in old Colonia, only a 10 minute walk to Don Antonio Posada along quant cobblestone streets with... More

A very nice hotel with clean rooms, comfortable beds, a lot of options at breakfast and a nice swimmingpool. The only remark i have is that they could offer better sandwiches or/and other lunchoptions.

Colonia is very small and sleepy and so is this hotel - perfect for a couple of relaxing days at the end of our busy trip. It seems to be an old colonial building, or is at least in the colonial style, which made a nice change to the more bland modern places we had stayed in elsewhere. Our room... More

I join the other reviewers in saying this is a special place. The desk reception was attentive, friendly and helpful. The rooms were beautiful, all with a balcony overlooking the swimming pool and garden. The wi-fi room downstairs was a pleasant place to relax and the breakfast room was attractive and the breakfast was excellent. It is unfortunately right outside... More
