The Posada is close to the old city (two blocks), and to the main ave (General Flores). I found it easy to walk around and explore. The Posada facilities are very modern and the eco friendly theme is fantastic. I loved that the pool water was so fresh (the water does not contain an awful lot of chlorine), I felt... More

Very beautiful and modern hotel. They did a good job on the design and details. Great hosptality, warm welcome and stay. The staff is very helpful. We were suprised that they changed the towels in the evening ( so twice a day is great). It´s well located in Colonia.

My husband and myself stayed at this amazing hotel after coming over with the ferry from Buenos Aires. We had decided to break up our trip to Montevideo and by staying in Colonia for one night. The hotel is a short walking distance from where the ferry arrives. We were greeted warmly by the very helpful reception staff. The rooms... More

Stayed here for one night. The minute we stepped through the door we were greeted warmly by the receptionist. She apologized for not being fluent in English but told us that her colleague would arrive shortly who spoke much better. We had no problem understanding her though. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, sheets and blankets seemed very new.... More

Our hotels this trip to Buenos Aires and Colonia were both on the modern side. I appreciated it a lot with this hotel as the weather was rainy and not too warm. This hotel was for us a bit of a refuge from the weather and allowed us to venture out into the wet and come back and get all... More

This is my second time un Colonia and the first at this hotel. The place is great, the hotel itself very clean, the rooms have warm floors which make them very comfortable in winter and you avoid to use the hot air conditioning system. The service of the staff was very professional and helpful on anything we need, great job!!.... More

This hotel is very nice. Good rooms, with warm floors (if you go in the winter like me it's great!). The breakfast is ok. They also have tea and "mate" all the time. Andres, one of the employees, was very attentive. The only problem we had was: they put us in a bedroom witch was cheaper than the one we... More

Based on other reviews, I expected that this hotel would be good, but it was terrific. Yes, our room was on the small side, but everything else was just right, so much so that we didn't really care about the small-ish room. The location is great--a short walk from the port where the ferries dock and a short walk into... More

Beautiful little Posadas a few steps from the gates of the old town and easy walking distance from the bus and ferry terminal. Rooms were small but beautifully modern and all the amenities you require. We were in room 2 on the ground floor next to the pool. Staff were very friendly and the public space was bright and airy.... More
