Ma wife, one of my osns and I spend a long week end at the resort. The food specially breakfast is top; the argentain chef and hos staff do a wonderfull "real" breakfast experience. We played golf 2 days in the golf club adjacent to the resort and was outstanding. You don't feel like you are in Uruguay; is probably... More

This hotel is very beautiful. The staff is very nice and the food is great. It is quite peaceful. The rooms are amazing. I would love to go during the summer to enjoy the huge pool it has. I enjoyed the indoor pool which has a forest view. The only criticism i have is that the mini bar only offers... More

We stayed here just before it transitioned from a Four Seasons to a Hyatt. Rest assured that it is a very pretty location, but there's a reason it's not Four Seasons anymore: it's not up to their standards. We addressed our concerns with Four Seasons and can't say enough about their amazing customer service and will be customers for life.... More

Ok, it is more expensive than some of the other places in the area. Two words: Four Seasons. And probably the least expensive Four Seasons I've ever visited. And it all adds up to a very good expenience.

I visited this resort when it was a Four Seasons, and was blown away. The rooms were incredible, I had one of the best meals ever in the main dining room, and the golf course was tone of fun. I just wish I had had more time to explore all the different activities offered. Kind of a pain to get... More

My wife and I recently stayed for a few nights & we will definitely be heading back soon. Perfect spot to relax after a few days in frenetic Buenos Aires. We both enjoyed the spa and the Carmelo Country Club. The staff couldn't be more accommodating (especially Horacio in the restaurant), visit the Narbona Winery for a tasting & dinner,... More

We stayed for three nights at this hotel in December 2014 and it was the perfect place to get away from it all and truly relax. The pool area is a lovely tranquil oasis to relax and the sun loungers were extremely comfortable. There is no beach area which wasn't really an issue for us but worth noting if you... More

Don't read too much into Ed C's review below...he obviously had a chip on his shoulder. After reading his review we were concerned about whether the resort would meet our expectations, and after two wonderful days there, it did so in every way. Having travelled extensively in Uruguay, as well as many other parts of South America, this is truly... More

We recently stayed for 3 nights in this hotel. It is truly paradise on earth, a tranquil oasis to relax and enjoy. The environment is breathtaking, we have rarely seen a hotel in such a nice setting. On top of that, the service is excellent. Are all people in Uruguay that nice? The pickup at the ferry station was perfect,... More

This was as good as other Four Seasons where we have stayed. The bungalow with a view was a delight. We,too, had a problem with bees in spite of indoor and outdoor efforts by housekeeping and the grounds guys. We were moved to a two floor suite and were treated to a very, very late check out. All staff are... More
