Marbella resorts offers a serene and relaxing place. It's a modern but built with the old custom in Sharjah. If you want to experience the old tradition in Sharjah in a modern day, Marbella Resort is a must visit. Great service and the pool is awesome. Great job to the staff. Keep up the good work. 👍👍

We stayed for the first time in sharjah Marbella resort on new years for one week as all other hotels were booked in Dubai. At first look the rooms looked old and so dark, but I guess eventually we got used to it. The staff were great and the resort is set up like little villas you get your own... More

Marbella was built in the early days of oil, and would have once been both grand and gracious. Separate low, white stucco villas with terracotta roman tiled roofs are reminiscent of Portugal or Spain. It is located on the Corniche, but has no direct view of the ocean as its privacy from the public pedestrian way is protected by a... More

The chalets are old and tired, with many floor tiles, items of furniture and electrics broken. The furniture itself would not have looked out of place in the 1950's. Had no TV for the first night as it was broken and nobody came to fix it until I chased two more times the next morning (and they came to fix... More

We stayed less than a week in this resort; it is quite old but still has sufficient means of comfort. What made it even nicer (with the help of the resort's cooperative staff specially Mr. Adriano) is that we stayed in a very quiet corner inside the complex where only a small green barrier stood between us and the lagoon;... Perfect location for families as it's quiet and there is plenty of grass around the villas for them to run around and play. Ask for a sea (lagoon) view as some villas just face each other. We stayed in a full villa, which comfortably slept 6 of us (inc 2 kids) with a large lounge/dining area and plenty room to... More

On arrival the staff were friendly especially the bell boy. We soon discovered though that this place really was lacking many things. The children's pool was out of service and after a week it still had no one there fixing it, we then used the hotel complex next door which had a good warm pool. The gate that leads to... More

Unusual location for a modern busy developing city. A bit of olde world refuge from the express speed of the city. We did have doubts initially but after first night settled in and enjoyed the experience - a bit of deja vue from way back in our much travelled past.
