We just arrived back from Hilton RAK Resort and Spa after a lovely holiday and overall a good experience. I would not have any complaints as that would be unfair but I think that the hotel is not quite up to 5 star or comparable to those in Dubai. The rooms are lovely, food superb (even on all inclusive) and... more

We have just returned from staying at the RAK Resort and Spa, we were there for 5 nights. Its approx 1 hour and 10mins from Dubai airport. We arrived into the airport at 730am and was at the resort by 9am. We were given a room straightaway. On observation its a resort that doesnt have much around it, other than... more

Just spent a few days at this hotel and left feeling disappointed after all the enthusiastic reviews posted here. We stayed in a villa room, which was spacious and comfortable but definitely not 5 star. The toilet seat was broken in 3 places making it unusable. When I reported it, I was thanked for pointing it out (doesn't housekeeping check... more

Stayed for 5 nights - booked through Virgin Holidays. I can imagine that when this hotel is fully up and running we wouldn't be able to afford it, so if you get a good deal GO NOW! HOTEL Situated on a white sandy beach the hotel has rooms in the main building and also in villas situated along the beach... more

We stayed at the Hilton from the 8th June to the 19th. Had a good holiday but would not class this as 5 star hotel more like 4. The hotel is new and in places not wearing well and there are broken tiles and the walls in the lobby have gone back to the plaster. Around the big sea swimming... more

I am pregnant, and went for a relaxing break with my husband to the Hilton. It is FABULOUS and a proper 5 star resort. There was great service and the breakfasts were amazing. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms and stunning in their decor. However we found the restaurants to be very over priced, especially the Passage to Asia... more

This is my second time to spend a weekend in this Resort. I checked in on 11 June for one night. They have many swiming pools and some of them with the sea water, there was a swiming pool front of my cabana and the sea very near also, we spent most of our day swiming and laying under the... more

This was our first trip to Dubai and we had planned to just relax for a week in the sun. This hotel is perfect for that. Whilst there is work going on on the final wing of the hotel it was never obtrusive, and never encroached on our enjoyment of the hotel. The service at the hotel is truly wonderful,... more

This is a great hotel in a crescent-shaped beautiful bay with a mock lighthouse at one end. The food is as good as you'll get on an all-inclusive buffet. John the restaurant manager seems really passionate about everything foody. Pools are good (although 1 was closed for most of the time we were there), but the large salt water pool... more

Glad we didnt stay in dubai. great value for money- you have to go all inclusive. Food was amazing. Roast beef, lamb, gorgeous lobster and Om ali (like bread n butter pud) very nice with a dollop of vanilla icecream. Dhow bar was nice place to sunbathe. Enjoy Tequila sunrises in XO bar. Building work went all night, but you... more
