From the moment Tina greeted us we knew it was going to be a great experience. She's so personable and knowledgeable. Great location - right on the beach. Our unit was updates, clean and had everything we needed. The location is close to restaurants and bars as well as the local grocery store and farmers' market. We LOVED it!

A quirky property that is not for everyone. But, if you are looking for proximity to a gorgeous, private stretch of beach with convenient access to charming Amagansett, consider Ocean Dunes. The resort is a 1950's motel converted into condos. The facility is tired and the one-bedroom unit we stayed in was shabby; not for the design aficionado or couple... More

The people who rent out these places are extremely rude, as well as the management (regardless of the receptionist). They take there rules way too seriously, like someone else had mentioned in a previous review. The rooms are run-down, felt like something from the 80's. No air conditioning. I did not feel welcomed at this resort. You're better off renting... More

Four of stayed at this so called "resort" last weekend in May. The rooms were OK, they were clean and equiped but needed to be updated. The beach was beautiful but our problem was with the staff. The manager Tina checked us in, did not greet us properly or even crack a smile.....just mumbled a bunch of rules. The pool... More

Location is prime. Right on the beach and quiet. Pool is very nice with great cushioned chairs. Beach chairs and umbrellas provided for the beach. Easy walk into town. I think the key is to get the right unit. Not all are for rent. All are individually owned ( different updates - some still in the 80s) and only some... More

Just spent a weekend here. The beach is lovely. The room was modern (209) and clean. The hotel is about a six block walk from the little town of Amagansett . After I paid I was handed a page of about 20 rules. When you call and book they tell you 3 rules. No children under 14 allowed (I did... More

had a pleasant stay. not luxurious but has all you need for a beach vacation. wonderful location right on the beach with a pool, and able to walk to town. not cheap but nothing is in the hamptons. rooms are just basic. each one is different because they are individually owned.

We chose this hotel because of the location and how helpful the manager was. We were having a hard time finding accommodations for all our wedding guest to book at. Now anyone who has tried to have their wedding on the East end knows how hard it is to get hotel rooms for guests... A majority of our guests stayed... More

Something has changed at The Ocean Dunes - and it isn't for the better. Over the years I've stayed at The Dunes with my family a number of times and always had great experiences. Though it's been probably 2 years since we last stayed there, I fondly recall the friendly staff whom apparently no longer exist at The Ocean Dunes.... More

My husband bought our package on a Groupon deal so needless to say it was a lot less expensive than it normally would have been. We were also upgraded which made the stay even nicer. Our place was a 2 floor apartment with a huge balcony where you could were facing a nature preserve but without much effort could see... More
