Never was able to make a reservation because I called to inquire about bicycles being available at the hotel as per the web sitel (a really nice deal since the only rental is quite a ways down the road and fairly expensive) and was informed that they did not have them anymore...I realize most people drive out to the Hamptons but we take the Jitney and like to get around on bikes while there. He then very rudely asked if it made a difference and if so go elsewhere...hum...I was calling for a very popular weekend and he still had space..seems very unprofessional to me. I am sure the house is very nice; however we will stay "elsewhere". I did tell him I was factoring that into the cost since we would be renting them...had he just nicely indicated where we could get them I probably would have booked.
