Excellent location. Walking distance to all attractions. Great value for the price. The room is very big. You can relax on the swings in the private garden and have breakfast outside your room. Everyone is very helpful. Best restaurants are within walking distance ( 5-10 minutes away) University of Chernivtsi is a Unesco dedicated building and within 25-30 minutes walking... More

Although newly renovated, it is unappealing, to say the list. Shabby dinner tables made of brown plastic, tap installed in a way your hands can not be washed and more. But the facilities is the not the biggest problem of this place-the staff is. If you suffer from nostalgia for being a customer of the old good soviet service-choose this... More

It wants to be a boutique hotel but looks more like a local inn...none of the employees speak other than russian and ukrainian language ,the breakfast is very poor and the ladys on a desk are allways very grumpy. But when you look around and see the town infrastructure is a mess you feel a litle lucky for having a good... This hotel is located in the heart of the city. Very nice, helpful staff, excellent cleaning. No soundproof at all, especially in the first floor rooms. I spent first night without any sleep, the next day asked staff to change a room. On the second floor the situation was almost the same, but a bit less noise from the street... More

We visited Czernowitz for a heritage trip to my family roots back in the 40 th. We stayed there for 2 nights in 3 rooms. The location is formidable, It is close to the center, and walking distance to all places we wanted to visit. The hotel is good. Big rooms. The WiFi in rooms is free and worked, and... More

Having never been to Chernivtsi prior to my trip I had no idea what to expect. My sister and I were very happy with this little charmer. Our rooms faced the inner court which itself was a wonderful spot to sit and relax in the middle of the city. And although I was happy with everything about this little gem,... More

Magnat Lux is a Boutique Hotel in a small cobble stone side street right in the center of Czernowitz/Chernivtsi. The 1st floor rooms facing the street are not perfectly quiet, so people who are very noise-sensitive should try the courtyard-rooms. Rooms are spacious and clean, staff is friendly but hardly speaks any English, breakfast is okay (the breakfast room is... More

Great location within walking distance of many restaurants. Clean, our room was very large. Windows open. Wifi available but speed is poor (~800kps via ipad) and signal strength is very poor, with slivers availalbe only in certain areas of the room. Staff does not speak English, and is void of most charm or service orientation thereafter. We didn't take it... More

Wonderful little hotel it is exactly next door to the only hostel in Chernivtsi. When i decided to extend my stay in this beautiful city the hostel was fully booked and i spent 2 nights at this place as an alternative. Normally i don,t sleep in hotels but this place was a treat and with a very economical price. The... More

I travelled to Chernitsi alone so booked a single semi-lux room with a shower. Slightly disappointed that I couldn't book via the website, only to discover than the prices published there haven't been updated since 2006! Never mind, the receptionist Svetlana was very friendly and accommodating on the phone. The hotel was superb, excellent location, very clean and they changed... More
