We visited the Ottoman residence for a relaxing honeymoon. This is exactly what we got. The building is beautiful. There is an open central water feature and eating area with a small bar and comfortable lounging area with massive cushions. The back end of the hotel opens out to the pool area which leads down to very quiet gardens and... more

My wife and I were in the group mentioned by Lancsliz in an earlier review. I would echo all of her positive comments about the Ottoman Residence and Akyaka. We stayed in a duplex room on the east side of the building. I can understand the concerns mentioned in some earlier reviews about the stairs up the sleeping area; they... more

After a week on a gulet 12 out of 14 guests moved to the Otterman Residence for a week. The hotel is lovely and has beautiful garden and wonderul swimming pool. The beanbags in the garden by the river ensured that we did not suffer from neck and backache form the usual sun beds. Hotel bedrooms are large and we... more

What a lovely surprise when we arrived at this hotel. It has a inner covered cool court yard with a fountain in the centre on the ground floor. Around this impressing atrium and above are the two floors of bedrooms of around 40. Buffet breakfast is good with the chef cooking eggs a la minute. The quality of fruit juice, coffee... more

Lovely location by the river about 10-15 minutes walk from Akyaka village. Stayed in a room looking over the pool with balcony, room was lovely, spacious and always spotlessly clean. One day the cleaners even made a decoration on our bed which was lovely. Food and bar were great with friendly, helpful service. Pool was great with lots of chairs... more

Booked through Anatolian Sky Holidays, with whom we had been before. This was the first week of a three week holiday, the other centers being Dalyan and Kalkan. Having been to Turkey many times before I have to say that this was the best hotel we have ever stayed iin, and not just in Turkey. The architecture is delightful, the... more

This is the second time I have visited Turkey, the first with my partner. We booked through lastminute.com and Anatolean Sky were our reps (who I belive own the hotel too). The drive from the airport was very smooth and the drivers very friendly and welcoming. On arriving at the hotel all the staff greeted you and were very curteous... more

I stayed at the Ottoman Residence in Akyaka for the first two weeks of September. It was one of the most enjoyable holidays I have ever had. I travelled on my own for 1 week and was then joined by a friend. Immeadiately on arrival I was warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. This feeling only increased as... more
