i stayed last year for the second time in villa sol. we had the best time the first year we stayed there, but last year was even better. i have met some great friends there. and i'm going again in 25 days. i can't wait to go back again. counting down the days. more

I don't know what some of the reviewers were complaining about. Villa Sol is a basic hotel, but clean and dry etc. The cleaner came every day and changed the linen and towels. The breakfast was indeed based on cheese and olives as someone complained: so what did he expect? It's Turkey, not Brighton! And the staff were all wonderfull... more

When arriving at these apartments where put into staff quaters in basement as apartments where full, took them three days to move us, to one bedroom apartment which we had booked, beds or towels where not changed the whole of our stay, staff where pleasant enough if you didn't ask for anything, attitude changed when we asked to be moved.... more

I cannot believe the reviews I am reading for this hotel in fact before going to Turkey (after reading the reviews) I changed my hotel. Please go and look for yourselves I went to this hotel to see for myself and spoke to many guest that were actually staying there at the time they were all having a fab time... more

This was the first time we had been to marmaris and it was excelent. We had read reviews on the hotel and it didnt look to good but it was great. We had a sea view which was amazing! arrived at the villa sol and could not beleive it thought we had been sent to prison,had to be transvered,do not go and stay at the villa sol,stay away! got transvered to otel selen and it was fantastic/friendly clean/food was great good choices,all kinds of steak pizza,chicken fantastic. was so glad to see the back of villa sol. more

I would not recommend this hotel for holiday makers. The pool was tiny and covered so water always cold. The pool is located in the restaurant with maximum 3 sun beds.
