I stayed at the Golden Rock Beach Hotel in July 2014, with a friend, for 5 nights. The hotel is ideally located along the beach and with good transport links to the town centre. Our room was very clean and attractive with a good sized balcony. There is a spa on site which is very reasonably priced; my friend and... More

Short but to the point. Couldnt fault the hotel and in good position for Icmelar by bus and Town centre by bus. Food was very good with wide range. Would go back there anytime. Ps, if u look for faults you will always find one, would like to see some of the homes people live in that write some of... More

We had a weeks holiday in this hotel from 19th. Nov. to 26th. Nov.2014 The hotel occupies a place on a headland, this is very quiet position, the problem we found was that we could not walk to anywhere after our evening meal,if we walked along the main road there was no where to walk to and not a pathway to... Me and my boyfriend visited this hotel on the 18th October. I really could not fault the hotel. The food was beautiful, always plenty of choice (apart from our last few days when they halved the amount of food, which i imagine was because the hotel was closing for the season). The rooms and hotel were extremely clean, the staff... More

What a disappointment this hotel turned out to be. The end of October was definitely the wrong time to visit as the hotel closes at the end of the month. The quantity and choice of food decreased substantially halfway through our week. The food was usually lukewarm and once finished was not replaced. It was sometimes impossible to discover whether... This hotel looks the part. The Hotel is decorated nice and so are the rooms and pool area and spotless rooms cleaned every day . We went in the middle of October and couldn't get a sunbed any day and we stayed for 7 nights. I would say there are 150 beds at the pool, which isn't nearly enough for... More

We stayed here half term week and the hotel was very quiet. We were moved there after 3 night stay at another hotel we were unhappy at. Golden rock was spotless in comparison and in a great location. There were only 14 of us in the hotel but the staff made us very welcome. Mum and i were the last... More

We returned for our 3rd visit and weren't disappointed. We had a lovely sea view and a good room which was kept spotlessly clean full marks to our lovely cleaner.I think the food was better than the year before plenty choice and the sweets are to die for.The animation team did their best but we don't go for the entertainment... Just returned from 11 nights in the hotel and while their are some negatives...The sunbed situation round the pool is terrible and the room covers are like jail blankets ,The attitutude of the staff and cleanliness of the hotel outweigh the bad points. The animation team, are all extremely likeable and work their butts off all day everyday. So a special thank you...
