If you are contemplating booking Les Terasses de Selimiye make sure you look at the B & B reviews for Selimiye. This establishment is essentially a B & B rather than a hotel. There are 2 different listings, the B & B is as 'Terasses' (more recent reviews) and here as a boutique hotel it is listed as 'Terrasses'. Confused,... More

A very beautiful hotel with good service and nice rooms. The food (dinner) is excellent. The village close by with the harbor and the restaurants are just lovely. A bit to walk if you don'r drive but thats OK, only 20 minutes. The surrounding nature and beaches close by is also a must. A visit to Bozburun and Bayır Köyü... More

Start w/ the bad: the rooms are tiny, dingy & dirty. It was the start of the season, you would think they would have "freshened things up". Nope. Also, we were the only people there yet it appears we were given the smallest / darkest room. We had about 2 thousand ants in our room the first morning we woke... More

Having spent a vacation in the owner's relative's pension in Kapadokya few years ago, one of my best travel memories, I was expecting that it would be top. It was better. Selimiye village is on my opinion in the top 5 of the most beautiful locations in the mediterranean, yet fairly undiscovered by foreign tourists. But a good location does... More

We stayed here three nights and loved it. After the hustle of Istanbul and the crowds at Ephesus this was a place of peace and quiet. Loved the pool and being able to look out over the remarkable landscape. The food was excellent and the price very reasonable. The room was basic but very comfortable and kept clean. Staff were... After a week with a Gulet, we were looking forward for 1 more week in Turkey. We hadn´t booked anything in advance but had visited the small town of Selimiye on our boat trip and loved the tranquility and style. After having spent an afternoon at Aurora Bar, a beautiful restaurant bu the seaside and having talked to the owner,... More

This is a great find, ideal if you want to just switch off and relax. The views are stunning, the rooms very comfortable and the food great, not least the price for demi-pension. I'm a bit surprised at some of the negative comments below. Solenne, the owner, is offering a great alternative to mass market travel and is doing a... More
