We booked for a fortnight in Yaniklar Oasis Village, a sort of smart, mainly British owned complex. With three children, aged 12,11 and 9 I my partner and I were a bit concerned it might be too quiet there for the whole fortnight. So I booked two nights at the Mediteran to break up the holiday, and with the low... more

Hotel Mediteran - what can we say? Yes it is in need of refurbishment, yes there are wires trailing near the balcony doors, yes the furnishings are tatty but look beyond all that and everything is clean, the beds are comfy, the staff are friendly and helpful, all the rooms have fantastic sea views from the balcony, there is a... more
We only stayed here the night we arrived (it was past midnight!) , checked out the following morning! Shower did not drain, electrical wires trailing on the floor in front of the patio doors, towels so hard they could have snapped and extremely basic to say the least!! We should have realised when on checking in the guy asked us... more
We had a fantastic time in fethiye. The town is in a beautiful setting with a habour and is not too touristy, so you get a real flavour for turkish life at the same time as having all the amenities for excursions etc. The hotel is located about a 30 minute walk from the town right next to the harbour.... more
We stayed at the Mediteran for a week in August 2007. It was a last minute booking and we didn't pay the earth so we weren't expecting great things. We were very pleasantly surprised though. The hotel is basic and generally abit tired but it is clean, has everything you need and is in a fantastic location for a quiet... more
This hotel is on the outskirts of Fethiye but we found that the dolmuses (little mini buses) passed by literally every five minutes so it was very easy to get into the town centre and it only cost 1YTL each (40p). We booked this holiday online as a cheapy break but were pleasantly surprised to arrive at such a friendly... more
Stayed here in july for 2 weeks. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. the hotel is situated in a isolated bay next to a boatyard across the bay from the main town of Fethiye and the marina. Theres plenty of places nearby worth checking out, Oludeniz, Hisonaru, It has its own dive centre on site so i decided to book a... more
Yes the Mediteran is basic, but what do you want for £5.00 a night? We usually holiday in Greece so we kinda expected it to be. The rooms were clean if a little dated, but the maid service was fantastic we had clean sheets and towels nearly everyday. And the beautiful arrangements she made with the towels were fantastic. The... more
