After arriving in Konya at 2 pm.we finally and very lucikly after 4 hours of going around different hotels found this one, which allowed us to stay .We are a couple who have been together over 3 years but are not married and therefore had great difficulty finding somewhere to stay in Konya. The room was on the back of... More

Although hotel appears tired, the staff were very friendly and helpful. We went for dinner (quite difficult in Konya for non-meat eaters), and they went out of their way to accommodate us. The chef brought out each dish and checked that we were happy with the choices. Lots of smiling and hand-shaking when we left. This is about the only... More

This is an older tired hotel. While clean it showed evidence that it had had many repairs in the past and needed more repairs in the present. The room was small and the bath had a very odd size and shape with no less than six walls, some of them at 45 degree angles to other walls. In the bath... More

It's so disappointing when the image of a hotel portrayed on the web does not match reality. The hotel was dark, dingy and tired. The bedrooms were also dark, dingy and tired. The 'hot' water was never more than tepid. However, the hotel was in a perfect position to visit the historical sites and the breakfasts were adequate.

Simple hotel, reasonably priced, with good service. Not everyone knows English, but they have friends on "speed-dial" who can come and translate. Always willing to help. The location is great, since the Mevlana Museum is a short walk away and the Alaeddin Keykobad mosque and Metro line are also a short walk from the hotel. Breakfast was good. In a... More

The hotel staff had sufficient English, rooms were clean and the downstairs-breakfast was just fine, and a good place to chat with other travelers if you like. The hotel is not a bustling place, overflowing with humanity, but it is clean, quiet, and just a short walk to the Mevlana Museum or to Aladdin Park. A safe bet!

In our 18 days in Turkey, regretfully, this was the worst hotel we overnighted at. The only redeeming factor was the worthwhile visit to the Mevlana Muzeum, but what a price to pay! The location was excellent, near the Muzeum and near to all the shops and bazaar. We had a double and an adjoining single room to make it... More
