Definitely there are not many hotels like this in other towns, a real Ottoman house converted int a boutique hotel. You might find other Konak in Safranbolu at a lower cost but maybe not with so much charm and details. The breakfast is a as nice as other people comment. The only but I would have was the bathroom temperature.... More

This nice authentic hotel is located in the best spot with really nice individually furnished room. Very friendly staff that are doing all they can to make you feel welcome. Have a look at the bar, where you just pick the bottle from the shelf and leave the tap from the bottle neck.

This hotel is nothing spectacular, but it has a certain charm to it. It was definitely what I expected for this part of Turkey - more traditional than a shiny, new, American-style hotel. The breakfast was simple but very good and fresh. The best thing about the hotel was the owner/manager. He was both friendly and helpful. He chatted with... More

It is a classic ancient building turned into a hotel. It may not be deluxe but absolutely clean and quiet and classic. The wooden decoration with all those old style furniture. It is like going back at time machine. Breakfast is excellent by the way. You will be greet by the staff fluent in english. However, we are lucky to... More

We absolutely loved everything about this boutique hotel: convenient and quiet location, old yet clean room filled with personal touches, modern washroom, lovely and spacious garden & canape, nice and cozy breakfast area (and the food itself was superb also), and the staffs were helpful, friendly, and courteous. We would especially like to express our sincere gratitude to Mr. İbrahim... More

The hotel is in an ancient ottoman style house, but the interior design is modern and confortable. There is a very nice courtyard with huge canapé, which is perfect for a little break in the afternoon. The location is very convenient and close to the center of town. If the breakfast could start earlier (8am instead of 9am), it would... More

Very nice and simply decorated boutique hotel at the heart of the old town called Çarşı. I would recommend to stay there for 2-3 nights to visit Safranbolu. Quiet, old, easy. We would certainly stay at the same place if we go again. There not many rooms but you can find one if you go after high season which is... More

This hotel is very well set-up, Ottoman style houses with a great garden, the rooms are charming and the staff was professional. My wife and I were travelling with our 20 month son, and the garden was ideal for us, very relaxing and inviting. The breakfast was delicious, an overall enjoyable stay, I strongly recommend.

You visit Safranbolu for its amazing conservation of Konaks. And Gülevi hotel is located in the most characteristic of them, with three renovated houses positioned at different levels of a large and quiet garden. They represent the best you could expect when you imagine living in one them... with taste and all the elements of modern confort...The houses have been... More
