This was my second time staying at this pleasant family house since June 2011. It is rather a family house than a pension due to the overwhelming feel and warm welcome from the family runing this property. I decided to bring my mother, my brother & his wife, my sister and her husband and children, and ofcourse my wife and... More

Our family really enjoyed staying in the Camlica Konagi. If you're looking for a break from big city living, this is a great place. We loved the quiet, the smell of the evergreen trees and great garden and outdoor sitting area. Breakfast was wonderful and Ozlem and her mother made us fresh pogaca (cheese pastries). The rooms were clean and... More

After reading all the positive reviews I booked our 3 night stay. The reviews are all true - it is a very clean, friendly place to say.

We have stayed at this nice and charming pension for one night only. The family was very cheerful and warm. We enjoyed our staying here and had booked for rooms at the rate of TL 270 for 7 adults and 2 childs. The highlight of the stay was the home-made cherry and raspberry jam made from the fruites grown in... More

We booked a room at Camlica Konagi based on its charming website and the wonderful reviews. They asked for 90 TL for a triple room, which seemed high, considering how far the place was from Safranbolu's city center. However, when we arrived, we learned that none of the rooms had a private bath and all the guests on each floor... More

The rooms were clean, the family who owns the place were fantastic and also they were very helpful. their website is very informative (just search on google) and detailed. The breakfast is... More

The additional few minutes necessary to discover this marvelous pension a bit outside of the town of Safranbolu is well worth it. Whether you are on foot or by car the owners will guide you on the phone, or provide free bus and train transfers from nearby stations. Every morning, the owners and their daughter make a traditional village breakfast,... More

Some friends and I recently stayed at the Camlica Konagi during our first visit to Safranbolu. We were very pleased with the place. It is a bit outside of safranbolu - not too far, but far enough to allow you to enjoy the peaceful quiet scenery. The price was great, worth the delicious homemade breakfasts alone! The pension has a... More
