This is an impressive 160 yr old house on a quiet but steep street of uneven cobblestones. (You might consider a taxi if arriving by bus). There's a pleasant garden and large rooms with thin walls. Apparently people in Ottoman houses had no secrets (unless they were speaking different languages.) We had a private bath but it was down the... More

The lady there is very helpful and nice. We arrived Safranbolu at early morning, but there is no empty room for us to early check-in. The lady let us stay in a very specailly decorated rest room (you feel like you are back to the 18th century), and let us take a good rest, and even give us a blanket,... More

The Woman that managed the hotel was very sweet and helpful. Even though she didn't speak much English she still made a great effort. We had to leave early in the morning to our next destination and she went out of her way to make sure we had something to eat before we left. Our rooms were very spacious and... More

The house is absolutely beautiful: Everything is renovated, but with style. Rooms are decorated with old furniture, even teh bathrooms have the right athmosphere. The beds are great and everything is super clean. The owner family is very helpful and offers a great service and the breakfast in the the wonderful garden was just delicious. To the center an main... More

The building of the hotel is kind of government protected historic building, therefore everything is very atmospheric. Staying here can have the feeling of going back to Ottoman times, while the modern facilities are on hand. Friendly housekeeper Sevgi prepares one of the best breakfast we had for our 2-month journey in Turkey. Location is a bit off the main... More

如果你喜歡有歷史、有故事的地方〜 你一定會很愛這裡!新穎的衛浴設備和親切的招待,還有用心準備的早餐,舒服的讓人不想離開〜 Feel so lucky to stay here. The house is very delicate and warmy. It's so comfy that we can stay here for all day and hope to stay longer. If I come to Turkey again, I come because of here.

The location is perfect b/c it is located in the old town. It is a Ottoman house which was maintained very well. I like it and feel so special staying there. They also provided home made breakfast that I like very much too. The most important thing is, the owner and his family are so nice and friendly. They picked... More

The location is excellent because It located in old town. It is an authentic Ottoman style and gorgeous house. I love it very much, especially the garden. They make a personalized breakfast to every guest. I felt very special. Besides, they took care of me because I got sick. They proactively offered hot water and food for me. I appreciate... More

The Mehves Hanim Konagi is a wonderfully restored classic Ottoman-era house that conveys all the atmosphere for a truly memorable experience. The location is superb -- just a few minutes walk down the cobble stone street to the main square of the old town -- and the residential area is quite peaceful. The owner is very friendly and she prepares... More
