The hotel is located 2min walk from the main old town square; all places within the old town are within walking distance; The authenticity of the building and its decor was great; very friendly, helpful and attentive staff; Basic but warm, cosy room - Ottomas style; v. good wifi; nice basic breakfast (a plate with cheese, salami, olives, cucumber/tomato, honey,... This was our first time staying out of Ankara and we found Safranbolu a really excellent place to stay. The hotel was very central and therefore parking could be a bit of an issue in the height of summer. However, we were delighted to discover that it was built in the typical Safranbolu architecture style. Everything was easy to reach,... More

Best location, only 2 minutes walk from town centre / hamami, spacious, ottoman style hotel with unique lobby and rooms. Hakan, the host, is very friendly and helpful. He was so nice and made sure the heater was on and I didn't feel cold at night. Good Turkish style breakfast. Reasonable price. In-room wifi is very strong. Highly recommended.

Selvili Kosk is a large Ottoman Mansion, preserved in its original state (apart from sanitary and catering arrangements!!) and keeping its historic atmosphere. Free parking is just a short distance away but parking outside the hotel to load and unload is no problem and Hakan is very willing to see to the luggage. The rooms are clean, large and airy... Our room had a long traditional bench, and the bathroom was installed in two closets! It was really cool, but picky people could have a room with a regular bathroom... More
