The staff was very nice and helpful. They let me leave my baggage after check out and they let me get changed my clothes when I went back to pick my luggage up. Breakfast was good enough. Good value for money. The only bad thing was, there was a noise (Loud wedding music and drum) coming from the next building.... More

Small room with twin beds. Hardly any room to walk between beds and dresser. Shower floor had two levels, very hard to use. Free Internet and central location were a plus. Food at fixed dinners (no choice), was awful, smelly fish. Buffet meals had limited selection of items, few meats. Instant coffee and "tang" like fake orange juice disappointed.

Well my fiancé and I were there for business, we have the best to say about this hotel. Our room was 114 spacious, clean and in tact. Room service was quick and tasteful ( a bit pricy though) Breakfast was plentiful to choose from! The location of this hotel is ideal for Izmir , everything is close to it. If... More

The hotel room was specious with a large, hard bed and power outlets right by the bedside. The room had a very small flat screen tv that sits on the desk. The bathroom has a shower / tub combination and they provide shampoo, conditioner, bath gel and soap. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and it was all right.... More

I stayed here during my tour of Turkey with Gate1. The location is excellent and one can walk to the Izmir shopping areas as well as the waterfront which has many bars and restaurants. This part of Izmir was quite a nice surprise! The hotel is somewhat worn and really needs a total renovation. It is maybe a 3 star... More

The twin room we had was a double bed, but we were expecting two twins. We received one bottle of complimentary water to make tea or coffe in the morning. The next day I was told only one bottle was complimentary regardless of the number of days we were staying! Illogical since there was a pot with tea and coffee... More

We stayed in Izmir two nights while on a Gate 1 tour of Turkey. We were assigned room #810, and were disappointed once again to find it was a twin room rather than a double. There were fixed slats on the outside of our windows, impeding what would otherwise have been a nice view of the hills. The internet connection... More

Rooms were OK, food OK, nothing spectacular. Wifi in the rooms OK. Shopping street in front of the hotel for snacks, meds, drinks, etc... Ask for a higher floor room for a view of the city hillsides or of the waterfront.

The room was neat in clean. The beds were very small but comfortable. The bathroom was more updated then other hotels we had stayed at in Turkey. It was a long walk to the water. Has Wifi but had to go out in hall to get better connection. They also need more elevator but I guess when you are on... More

We stayed at the Kaya Prestige with a Gate 1 tour and were very satisfied. The hotel is well located, only a few blocks from the waterfront. Our room was clean and comfortable and although the bathroom was quite cramped everything worked well. If you don't like Turkish food you'll probably want to dine elsewhere, but there are plenty of... More
