So from the time we checked in about a dozen things i could enlist thats wrong with this hotel. The staff is the most unhelpful set of people we have met in Turkey. They refused to book a taxi for us if it wasnt with the tour they were tied up to. No smiles on their faces, no brief about... More

It's a really average hotel just right in the city. If you want to look around in İzmir you can choose this hotel. Easy to reach, in the sea cost and not too much expensive. If your're in İzmir only for a business visit I can not recommend this hotel to stay. It's in little bit noisy location. Also if... More

The hotel itself is three-star. The location:5 The view from the rooms: 5 The staff: 5 Cleanliness: 5 The rates: 5+ I paid only a fraction of what I would have paid if I stayed in a nearby 5 star hotel. So, I did not have luxury expectations. The location is unbeatable. I will be back. Thank you all.

We stayed 3 nights, April 9-12, 2014, at Kilim Hotel. The positives: 1.Location - 10 minute walk to Konak Square, market and agora (under construction), 5 minute walk to Airport Havas Bus. Be aware though that the bus is hourly on the 1/2 hour. 2. View of Aegean. 3. Tons of restaurants along waterfront. 4. Buffet breakfast to die for... More

Bad smell when entering the room and asked bellboy to open window. The smell was from the bathroom which had the obvious signs of mold and rot. When we told reception they just ignored our comments. Left for a better place.

Perfect location slap bang in the middle of the waterfront. Easy walk to Kemeralti Bazaar, Konak Clock Tower, Konak Pier and near enough to the Kordon for all the bars and restaurants. Lots of construction work going on outside along the promenade but it didn't interfere with hotel standards. Rooms are comfy, clean and well equipped (hair dryers / slippers... More

I think I found the hotel I would love to stay every time I visit Izmir from now on… Ask for a room with a sea view and you will love it… very clean, comfortable, rich in the city center, nice gentle and very helpful staff… only wifi can be a problem sometimes with certain sites (for some reason they... Forget about Swissotel and Movenpick, for location and value for money in central Izmir, the Kilim wins hands down. Rooms, while a little dated, are very comfortable with good beds, showers and all necessary amenities typical of a 4 star hotel. The best thing is the view. The hotel is perfectly located on the seafront in the middle of town... More

The Kilim is in an awesome location right down by the water. All the comforts of home including your choice from 5 types of pillows, bathroom scale and a bathtub! All toiletries, Internet works well, coffee, tea, mini bar, great views of the Aegean, nice staff, very clean and comfortable room. I like the late check out (12 noon) It... More
