I spent six nights here while working at Ege University's hospital. My room was spacious, with free wifi and the breakfasts were very good. The restaurant for dinner though is not so good. The hotel is centrally located and has a gym (although one has to ask at the front desk for this to be opened). There is no pool.... More

This hotel is in the financial area, just 1 block from the bay. Hotel A/C was turned off so room was a bit warm and the window could not be opened. Can't imagine how it would be in the summer! Our group was served a good meal in the bar area and the breakfast buffet was very good.Other than that,... More

I only had positive experiences staying at this hotel. The hotel was situated close to the water and near night life. My room had a balcony with a lovely view of the city and hills. I had a clothes butler which I thought was an added touch. The only recommendation I have is to add more lighting near the vanity.

I stayed in Ege Palas for 3 days, great location and great price, room was ok, elevator view is amazing, I left the room very early and came back very late and those times there was no front desk agent at the desk which i am fine with it. AC sounds like it is working but the temperature was 26... More

I stayed here with some business colleagues for a night. The view from our hotel room was fantastic, overlooking the bay, sunset was beautiful, I have attached a photo. The room was very good with everything you need. Bathroom was clean with a great power shower. The bar on the top floor is a must! Views of Izmir are superb.... More

We recently spent 10 days in Izmir with family and stayed at the Ege Palas. The location is excellent for spending time exploring the city as well as day trips to other sites in western Turkey. The hotel staff were very helpful in providing information for getting around the city, restaurant recommendations, and taxi service. Because it is located in... More

As this is the only hotel I stayed at in Turkey, I'm not sure how to compare it. My room was clean and had a nice view of the sea. I heard a lot of traffic noise throughout the night .... even being up on a very high floor. Elevators were painfully slow. Staff seemed very helpful and friendly. The... More

Its an old hotel with a lot of attitude.....I had booked in for two nights but checked out the next day..... From the moment I entered the hotel I had a feeling it was over priced....while checking in I requested the guy at the reception for a Sea Facing room....with all his attitude he said sea view will be 10... We were given a room by the receptionist Arda :( on the 7th floor where we could hear the music and beats from a nearby nightclub until 5:00 am. To our surprise, there were only a few customers staying at the hotel that night. My roommate could sleep somehow so I couldn't say "Hey, wake up. We're changing rooms" in... More

I spent some days in Izmir in the Hotel. Beside the Hotel is old and expensive, the area of the hotel smells, it is very very loud and the side where the hotelentrance is, is dangerous. Breakfast was ok. Parking area is available in a garage
