Visited by chance, after having used the thermal spa next door at the Balcova Hotel. The facilities here are more modern and luxurious therefore more expensive. We had a very good strong massage. The dining room was not open for lunch so we had lunch at the bar and wondered why we were the only two having lunch here. Would... More

I've stayed at Kaya İzmir Thermal & Convention Hotel in July 14. The rooms are clean and tidy. There are lots of amenities at the hotel. The stuff are kind and helpful. They know how to please the customers and do their best to solve their problems if any. The prices are reasonable due to the quality and the type... More

On check in our room smelled strongly of cigarettes. This was through the room in the linen and towels and bar fridge didn't work, we spoke to reception to try and facilitate a change of room. The staff member we spoke to at reception was very rude and at one stage appeared to be laughing at us to another staff... More

Just got home from 1 week at this hotel. We had a double room, with view to the parking outside the main entrance. When there where weddings in the building opposite our room, we had problem sleeping at night, since it was quite loud. The room was ok, and had a minibar (the fridge wasn't really that cold), safe-deposit box,... More

We stayed here for three nights. We had mixed feelings about the place. First of all the hotel seemed to be oriented toward businesses and events (weedings), and beeing a couple on vacation we didn't feel like we fitted in here. During the evenings (weekend) there were few other guests around and we ate dinner alone in the ala carte... More

This place is designed to impress as you arrive, with a big driveway, big buildings and big grounds. And big meeting rooms with decor I can only describe as "interesting". If you're just looking for a reasonable room and decent, plentiful food for a large gathering, which is what I was there for, it worked fine. The selling point is... More

I was here for a business trip, travelling alone. Maybe too elegant for me (when I arrived, a big wedding was going on), but beautiful anyway. Big garden, swimming pools, spa etc. Breakfast very very abundant! Not very comfortable if you want to visit the city center.

As a thermal resort, we found the Kaya as the most elegant, very well located in Balcova's historic site where the original thermal water once healed the ailing daughter of Greece's King Agamemnon, centuries ago. It is beautiful setting for a Resort with wast land and well maintained grounds and gardens. Kaya has it all, very lavishly furnished rooms, excellent... More

Very nice location, beautiful views to the hill and the sea. Very nice and helpful staff. Breakfast and dinner buffet with numerous variations (taste coud be mor special), Rooms are spacy. Very larfe kobby, nice to look down from every floor to the lobby (central, 4 floors high!) Pools are well maintained and spacy.
