I have just returned from a work trip where I stayed in this hotel. The staff were very helpful and service was generally swift. The hotel amenities were good, I was particularly impressed by the swimming facilities, the spa was lovely and open until 8p.m. and the water park, Aqua City, was open until 11. Residents at the hotel had... More

My first time in Balcova Thermal Otel, was as part of a group going there for treatment in the autumn of 2012. After this I have kept coming back several times, both for treatment and for vacation. What makes this hotel special, is the treatment center with thermal water, and the large aqua park, which is may be accessed for... More

It is a nice hotel with a big wellness center. Pros: - Food was good, fresh and well prepared. - Pools and turkish baths were all very nice. Massage therapists were professional. Cons: - A little bit old, needs renovation.

I was there one month, and must say that it was great. They do everything for making the best out of your stay. Good food. Big garden to relax in. The only cons is the volume when they are arranging weddings. Take with you something to put in the ear!

We stayed in this hotel for a meeting with 22 other participants. It was a nice experience overall. The staff was very helpful. There are some hiccups however. Since it is (apparently) a semi-public institution, there is not that crisp-sharp international hotel type of ambiance. It is rather old and looks a bit dusty. However, the food, service, beautiful big... More

Not bad. A place for aged tourists. It enjoys a very large swimming pool. Food buffet is average. Quiet area, but a bit far away from Izmir center and main amenities. Large gardens. Better to go during warmer season.

A very nice hotel with All Inclusive (for a good price). Friendly staff that answered all my questions. Breakfast, lunch and dinner was various and you could choose from fruit, vegetables to hot dishes, always 2 dishes at dinner. Cleaning of the room vas very satisfying. Nice to have a balcony. A shoort walk to the big poolarea.

I stayed at this hotel in April 2011 on a business trip. For one, the hotel was recommended to me by someone and as it was also advertised as a nice four star hotel on the Internet I was really looking forward to staying there. I took a taxi cab from the airport to the hotel which cost around 35... More

The hotel is located outside the city center but easy to get via taxi or public transport. The room we stayed in was very small but still enough for one night stay. The breakfast room gives a hospital or canteen feeling as there are many tables next to each other but the food is OK. There are two restaurants in... More
