My partner and I stayed here for 10 days as I was having cosmetic dentistry in Izmir.
For a start, the hotel is over an hours drive from Izmir airport, not much fun after a long flight (or waiting for your non-existant pre-booked transfer!!!!) Taxi cost us around £60. The hotel was very plush and what you would expect from its class, rooms were nice and we had a great view of the sea, pool area and surrounding neighbourhoods (I think we were on the 4th floor). The pool area played the same music day in and day out, but seeing as I was spending 6-8 hours a day going to and from the dentists I wasn't bothered that much. Theres a lift (and stairs) that go down to a nightclub and beach area, not much sand at all and it's very rocky to enter the sea, although theres a jetty with steps into the sea at the end of the beach.
It was half board, food could became repetitive with some looking unpallatable, don't leave your food on the table in the mornings as all the birds will get to... more
