We are two couples who traveled for two weeks in Turkey and stayed at four different hotels. We would all recommend the Melrose Allgau Hotel. The location can't be beat. It'a a five minute walk to the limestone and travertine formations. The owners, Mehmet and Umi, are gracious and welcoming and helpful. The rooms are big and bright with good... more

We stayed in this family-run hotel for only 1 night in September. It is a really charming place, with a beautiful garden, small swimming pool, and clean, cosy and colorful rooms. We had dinner and breakfast there and I really enjoyed the food and service in the garden. The owner was extremely helpful to us with our travel arrangement to... more

We stayed at the hotel for 1 night only, but the hospitality and quality of the hotel was outstanding in this price range for Turkey! We we met by the owners and were offered assistance with anything we needed. The pool is lovely [they have 2, but one was empty when we visited] and the 2 courtyards are very homely... more

We took a road trip though Turkey and decided to stay in Pamukkale at the Melrose based upon all of the positive reviews on TripAdvisor. I'm happy to report that it is just as amazing as everyone says it is. The rooms were nice and clean; the shower was full size with plenty of hot water; and, the owners were... more

I recently took a long trip through Eastern Europe with a group of 26-35 yo friends and out of 12 hotels/hostels, the Melrose was by far the highlight accomodation of the trip! Tucked away down an unassuming road 15 minutes walk from the mineral baths at Pamukkale, this family-run bed and breakfast had beautifully remodeled rooms, 5-star quality food, amazing... more

The cleanliness is the one of a good category hotel and the hospitality and friendliness is as if I visited my family. I changed the end of my two weeks itinerary to stay a second time with my two daughters. more

I was in Pamukkale 7 years ago and stayed at another hotel. Imagine my surprise this time around to find that the town appeared tired and run down. (Mehmet explained this as being due to people making only day visits to the area and not staying overnight) But when we came to the Melrose Allgau, it was a freshening sight.... more

This hotel is absolutely fabulous. The LP Guide says that this hotel is owned by a German family, but this is not true - it is owned by a Turkish family, and anyone who stays here will experience true Turkish hospitality. Mehmet, Ummu and their two daughters, were the most amazing hosts. I felt as if I was staying with... more

We wound up staying an extra night because the room, accommodations, and FOOD were excellent. Honestly, we were a little nervous when the bill came at the end of our stay because we kept dining at the hotel, but we were oh-so-pleasantly surprised by what a deal the whole thing was! I wish I knew more people going to Turkey... more
