Weather moderate but Restaurant hot and airless. Crowded and noisy with several hundred guests trying to be heard above the key board player's output. Within 12 hours of dinner (the usual buffet presentation - but highly competitive and unprotected from the trampling hordes), half of our party of 21 had suffered some degree of food poisoning. I was violently and... more

I was with one of those large group tours (70 people). Luggage waw moved efficiently. lots of small bulidings surrounding pool/thermal outside area. Large outdoor pool and 4 thermal pools. Lack of towels at 4 pm. Booked a turkish bath with massage- excellent way to finish a long day. Make appts early. Need a bathing cap for the indoor pool-... more

This hotel is pretty basic. Rooms are very small and require some updating. Apparently this hotel is kind of a one night stop for most tours in the region. So not really a SPA that you will enjoy spending several days in. Everything is very impersonal and basic. Our room was very small and kind of dark. The food is... more

Vast hotel spread out in sections. Rooms 'average' - we had a wasp's nest being constructed on our balcony railings! Exorbitantly expensive mini bar prices - as everywhere in Turkish Hotels. Outdoor pool - lovely. Thermal pools - good to try. My husband enjoyed a massage and I had reflexology foot treatment - we both enjoyed them. Belly dancer not... more

My wife and I stayed there for one night on our tour to Turkey. Not much to say about this impersonnal hotel that seems to be only interested in large groups. The service is appalling particularly at breakfast. In fact it is inexistant in a dining room set more like a banquet hall. If you are individual travellers, you end... more

It is not surprising that the Colossae Hotel in Pamukkale stays full all the time; it is constantly full of packaged tour groups. Unfortunately, that gives the hotel management little incentive to refurbish the guest and public rooms, which are mediocre at best. Starting in the middle of the afternoon, wave after wave of package tour groups surge through the... more

The Colossae Thermal was the sort of hotel used by international large groups of tourists. It served its purpose for one night. The room was very small and the air conditioning very tricky to master. It was needed. The hotel was clean with a large selection of buffety food. It appears to have loads of facilities like various swimming pools... more

After reading all the bad reviews I had my travel agent check out this hotel before agreeing to stay here. It was quite fine. It is a huge hotel with the rooms spread out over a large area. There are very lovely gardens everywhere. The indoor thermal pool was quite nice. The outdoor pool in April was freezing cold so... more

Stayed one night. Room was good standard and large with a separate sitting area. The rooms are located in blocks. We stayed in block 5 . The rooms were clean and comfortable. The restaurant was large, the food was ok but the wine was very expensive minimum £30 per bottle for local wine. The thermal spa was ok but a bit... more
