Very cheap option. Very near to site...but then again the town is tiny. The rooms were very cold...they did not keep the heat on...but didn't mind keeping it on in their own rooms (the family appears to live downstairs). The old man is nice...but is son is rude and seems to hate working with foreigners. In fact...he was just plain... More

I new this would be basic because of the price, but it was actually unaceptable. If the beds had sheets on them they didn't fit, both towel rails fell off the wall as we walked into the room and breakfast was inedible. I could actually put up with this but what finished it off was the disco right opposite the... More

I booked this guest house as I was coming from Selcuk on a overnight bus and wanted to crash for sometime before the Pamukkale day trip. Very basic hotel but charged me TL 20 for 2 hours. As I was not staying for the night, I had my breakfast which too was very basic. But I met a very interesting... More

As a long term, budget traveler, I have low standards when it comes to places to sleep. I've slept on stranger's couches, dingy hostels and even outside. For a good price, honest service, and a bare minimum of cleanliness, I'm pretty happy. Even according to low standards, Kale failed miserably. Everything was going fine until the night. The heat didn't... More

I arrived yesterday for 5 night stay. This is the cheapest bed I have found in Turkey and I think it is very good value for £5.55 per night including breakfast. The staff are helpful and the place is clean but showing its age.The breakfast is standard Turkish buffet, plenty of choice, very fresh bread and I saw some Korean... More

This accommodation was alright. Despite having made a reservation through hotels.com, they had no record of it (they said reservations through that site never work...you would think that they would look into the issue instead of letting more people show up thinking they have a room...). The room was okay and we were able to get in quite early. The... More

Not the most welcoming people, Not the cleanest and nicest hotel, but for the price you can't complain. It's good enough and well suited for a good night after seeing pamukkale and aphrodisias! Good breakfast The room was clean and with ac!!

The hotel is run by a family. The guy named Ali and his mother was very friendly. The shuttle stops to Kirmizi Su or anywhere else in the city and all the bus tourism offices is just 100m from the hotel. its located in the center of the city. The travertines (white terraces) is 2-3 min walk from the hotel.... More

We stayed at Kale hotel to visit Pamukkale. We slept well althought we could feel the springs in the bed... Good breakfast starts at 8h. Host was friendly and helpfull. It's a nice place to stay if you only want to sleep there... bathtube is funny (never seen one like it). The room was clean. Good stay overall.

The pillows were like lead, the sheets were as thin as a ghost, the springs in the bed were poky, the hallways smelled like formaldehyde, hosts were kurt, paint was pealing, tub was dirty, hot water was intermittent... this place SUCKED!
