Previous reviews have covered the majority of the details, so let me just reiterate the amazing hospitality experienced during our recent 2 day, 2 night visit to Cappadocia. Muammar, Arzu, and their employees - notably Chem - were outstanding, warm, and welcoming! We enjoyed the cave hotel setting, Cappadocia in general, and notably amazing meals in the wonderful ambience of... More

We stayed at Meleklerevi for 3 nights. The place is romantic and quiet. The proprietors Muammer and Arzu are excellent hosts. They are extremely helpful in helping us with our itenerary. We followed Muammer's suggestions of sites to see and visit and everything was great. The place is only a few minutes walk to the city center of Urgup where... More

This review is full of superlatives because, well, because Meleklerevi is a superlative experience. It is the only hotel I have visited in which I wouldn't add anything and I wouldn’t take anything away. It is perfect exactly the way it is. Hosts Muammar and Arzu (architect and interior designer respectively) obviously love this place and the life they have... More

Great place, great staff and fantastic environment. The visit to Cappadocia was fantastic and staying in Meleklerevi Cave was one of the highest point for our tour in Turkey. Thanks Muammer and Arzu for your hospitality. We feel like home.

Meleklerevi is an incredible hotel with rooms designed meticulously in caves. No room is alike. Each has its own stunning charm. The design is absolutely stunning and so is the view you wake up to every morning. The rooms open up to the beautiful landscape of Cappadocia with hot air balloons decorating the sky. The owners and hosts, Muammer and... More

My reason for visiting Turkey was to stay a cave hotel and I absolutely loved my stay here. I visited Meleklerevi in October 2011, and had a wonderful stay. The room's décor was lovely, a former storage room for apples, now aptly called Love . Moammar showed the video of his discovery of this hotel and its beautiful transformation---what a... More

My wife and I ended our 13 day tour of Turkey with a stay at Meleklerevi Cave Hotel. There are no words to describe the wonderful experience that Moammar and Arzu provide. The hotel itself is second to none, but this couple open their lives and hearts to each guest. Arzu provides some of the best meals that we had... More

My wife & I stayed at the Melekler Evi Cave hotel just outside the central part of Urgup. It was an easy stroll into the business district which seemed significantly more convenient than many of the other cave hotels in the area. Moammar & Arzu were gracious hosts, two of the friendliest people I have ever met, and Arzu is... More

We stayed at Meleklerev Hotel in late May early in our two week trip to Turkey. We arrived after dark on our first night and immediately were shown into the dining room which is the former stable of the original structure. There was a fire in the fireplace, wonderful music, amazing smells and such delightful inn keepers, Arzu and Muammer... More
