We were traveling with two daughters, 12 and 9 and two other families. Other reviewers have described the setting, so I won't repeat. The service, food, and unique rooms were all top notch - hardly a given in that part of Turkey. Coming back from long hikes our tours was like retuning to a wonderful refuge. more

The location, the service, the breakfast, the service- all were wonderful. One possibly helpful hint: unless it means a lot to you to stay in a "cave room", consider the one room which is not. We stayed in both types and found the non-cave room (only US $10 more) roomier and better appointed. more

This lovely small hotel set into a hillside, though not really a cave hotel was our Cappadocia headquarters for five days. The Serinn House is a fantastic small (5 rooms) cave hotel in Urgup in Cappadocia. The hotel built into the caves on the hill just outside town, as are a number of other cave hotels.
