Beautiful rooms, excellent food, friendly, welcoming family. This small hotel is a real find, and made our experience in Cappadocia even better than expected. During our five day stay, Okan helped us with our balloon ride booking, a tour guide, and airport pickup. Mum's cooking, prepared with fresh produce from the family's organic garden, was the best we had in... More

What a find. I was so surprised this lovely restaurant was in the village we were staying in. A set menu using organic home grown produce cooked by mama with love and pride. Okan was a delight telling us their history and extremely hospitable. We booked again for the following night as the meal was generous, satisfying yet light on... More

We chose Aravan based on a friend's recommendation who had stayed here 2 yrs ago..and we never regretted our decision. We stayed in their suite for 3 days. A lovely family run boutique..(Father, son & Mother) it is in a quiet Turkish village. Urugup is 10km away. The mother is the chef, and every meal she serves is delicious..the soup,... More

This is a lovely family run boutique hotel located in a small village about 10km away from Urgup. It is quiet and has a local feel to it. I decided to stay at this hotel based on many great reviews I read and I was happy to have such a wonderful time there. Okan was great ensuring I was comfortable... More

While visiting Cappadocia for the first time, Aravan Evi Boutique Hotel and the Yazgan family provided us with a very special home away from home for 5 days, far exceeding our expectations. Mother, father and son, work closely together and graciously provided us with whatever we needed. Every meal was absolutely delicious, and was served in a comfortable, sunny dining... More

Seeking a different sort of day within the tourist world of Capadoccia, we found ourselves in Ayvali and at Aravan hotel for lunch thanks to eco tourist company Euphrates Tours in Urgup. And what a joy! Nurhayat and her son Okan gave us a superb welcome and the most wonderful meal on a balcony overlooking the village. The food included... More

I was not expecting much when we first arrived at Aravan Evi but I was pleasantly surprised with the service, cleanliness and comfort of this family run hotel. The ambience of the room and terrace made us feel relaxed. The Yazgans made us feel at home and they were really sincere with their service. Could not have asked for more... More

My friend and I stayed at Okan's family's bed and breakfast for one night - a brief stay during our ambitious 5 country trek over a period of 20 days. Even though we spent the shortest amount of time in Cappadocia, this experience was by far, our favorite! Okan and his family were wonderful hosts. Okan picked us up from... More

All the reviews were absolutely true and even exceeded our expectations. This was certainly the highlight of our trip to Turkey. The town itself is incredibly peaceful and gives great insight into what a remote, ancient, Turkish town is really like. I wouldn't have been happier in another part of Cappadocia. The other towns were a little touristy for our... More
