I've been lucky enough to have been in some really wonderful hotels around the world and i must say this one stands out as one of the greats. We had a travel agent arrange many of our hotels on our trip through Turkey, but my sister had found this in a search and we insisted we had to stay here.... More

We were least expecting to be charmed by a hotel, especially in the fairy land Cappadocia. But the Sacred House came as a hidden gem and we had to push ourselves to leave the hotel every day despite calling spells of the area. The stylish hotel was built with a unique taste. It is beyond the photos on the website.... More

The hotel is nicely situated in the relatively quiet village of Urgup, which has just enough restaurants and shops to satisfy a visitor's needs without being too touristy. Our suite, the Fairies Nest, includes a private veranda overlooking the hills and hotel courtyard, and a round domed bathroom with a romantic circular tub. The bedroom is sumptuous and tastefully ornate.... More

We choose Urgup because we were told there are less tourists here than in Goreme--true. Customer service is their mantra...we were made to feel at home yet pampered with extraordinary food and room comfort. Our room furnishings included antiques and a warm regal feeling.Breakfast was served on the roof-top with a spread of homemade jams (my favorite was the miniature... More

My husband and I stayed here for four nights in september. The staff was wonderful, very helpful and breakfast was great. Hotel is quite charming, Rooms are very unique (we stayed in harem and chapel) but expensive compared to other hotels. Only downside to the hotel was the view. There are some cave dwellings in the nearby montains, but if... More

You would never know it is a beautiful boutique cave hotel inside the wooden doors. Part of the hotel was renovated from an old chapel / house. Each room is beautifully decorated with it's own theme. Breakfast is served at the roof top terrace where it over-looks part of the town and also the cave in the hills from afar.... More

I think my title sums it up perfectly - wow, what an experience!!! This place is unlike any hotel I've ever stayed. My wife and I spent our 10-year anniversary in Turkey and this was the second stop on our journey after Istanbul. We spent 4 days at Sacred House and it was truly an amazing stay - from the... More

The staff and hotel live up to the exceptional reviews. When you enter all your senses are impacted, the gorgeous decor, the scent of fresh flowers, and the music that puts you in a relaxed mood and makes you feel like you're in a fairy tale. The rooms are all gorgeous with unique decor that's exquisitely put together (we stayed... More

Sacred house exceeded our already high expectations when we stayed here. The rooms, hotel design and service were all excellent. We were apprehensive initially staying in a cave hotel with no television and ac but our stay was so good that we never missed any of these modern conveniences. Truly exceptional!

Sacred House, in a former Greek mansion, is an utter gem. The public spaces are beautiful and the rooms spectacular, particularly the cave rooms. It's a small hotel, so the staff can make the effort to get everything right, particularly with service. Upon arrival, they immediately upgraded us to a stunning cave room and brought in a platter of Turkish... More
