To get a feel for the Troglodyte way of life you may find yourself in a room carved into the rock - as ours was. It was tastefully furnished and had many niches and shelves for the detritus of touring. Quiet and comfortable it was too. The floor was split level so the night time lavatory trip was hazardous. The... More

Each room in this hotel is unique in design. If you are lucky enough to be in a group situation, you may have the opportunity to view the diversity in this establishment. Some rooms are two/split level with step up/down, sunken rooms; large round beds, kings, queen, etc. Some of the rooms may even remind you of a movie set.... More

The Hotel is amazing with well built, aesthetically pleasing, clean rooms. But rooms are Half in Cave and Half outside so I will call it a Semi-Cave Hotel (I have visited few more cave hotels with fully in-cave rooms) This drawback is eliminated by extremely friendly and helpful staff. You will not be disappointed by anybody here. Note: Dinner in... More

Quick summary, yes I would recommend the Yusuf Yigitoglu Konagi Hotel to family and friends. We did not pick the hotel, it was arranged for us by the tour company. Unlike the first, it was a nice htel. We stayed two days. The hotel is partially cut into the side of the hile. Hence the rooms are caves or partial... More

A unique hotel, affixed to the side of a hill with some of the lower rooms actually carved into the hill. The rooms were spacious with plenty of storage space. The open air patio provided a pleasant area for both eating and just relaxing with a drink after a day of sightseeing. WiFi worked but only in this outdoor area.... More

What a charming hotel! The character definitely reflects the area where each room has been hollowed out of a cave. No two rooms are alike. We were fortunate enough to be placed in a high room (the Panorama Room) with a breathtaking view. Those with mobility issues, however, should think twice about staying here as there are many steep stairs... More

My wife and I stayed three nights in this hotel while touring Capadocia. We never knew a cave could be so elegant and romantic. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a modern European-style bath. Our room was located next to the kitchen/dining room, the one thing about our stay I would not recommend to others since the staff is... More

We stayed for three nights at this great cave hotel in Urgup (Capadoccia), where we were greeted upon arrival by Mustafa who has to be one of the kindest and most helpful hotel managers I have met. Our room was very comfortable with a raised double bed, good air conditioning, and plenty of space. Staying in Urgup was quieter than... More

Our travel agent booked this hotel for us as part of a tour package. We were pleasantly surprised that we were given a suite with twin beds and a double bed for only two of us. The room built into a cave was air conditioned and comfortable. Wifi unfortunately was weak and often unavailable in the room and we had... More

Unusual for us, this hotel was booked via a travel agent (with whom we booked three days of tours). Normally we use TripAdvisor to find our accommodation. Firstly the staff were excellent. We arrived after a 21 hour day, having woken in Istanbul at 4am, flown to Izmir to experience Ephusus and then a (delayed) flight to Cappadocia finally arriving... More
