This hotel was recommended by our travel agent. She had been spot on with all her other recommmendations so this one couldn't have been wrong either. However, we didn't stay at the Rose but chose another more wellknown hotel. But we did have our first meal in Cappadocia here and the experience had us waxing lyrical for days.

The hotel is just so pretty. The service so warm and attentive. The food out of this world. It was our best meal in Cappadocia. We had arrived at the hotel exhausted after a long day. We were welcomed into the glass room/lounge with a log fire going. Our drinks orders were promptly taken and it took no time for the apple tea and raki to appear.

The dinner was pre-booked and ordered by our travel agent Vasco Travel (excellent company). However, two of the group members wanted to change the menu as they didn't like the main course offered. No problems. An alternative was worked out for them very quickly with a big smile.
