Kapadokia was the most spectacular place we visited while in Turkey. Elkep Evi was part of what made spectacular. Yes, it is an honest to goodness cave but it did not lack any of the modern conveniences. We arrived at 3 in the morning and there was someone to welcome us to the hotel. We were very tired and of... more

Our amazing 4 days in Cappadocia had a lot to do with the gracious and beautiful cave hotel, Elkep Evi. Who would have thought a room carved out of a cave could be so comfortable, relaxing and well-appointed? Breakfast could not have been in a more beautiful location - a grassy rooftop garden with fruit and pine trees, roses, vines... more

We were overjoyed when we walked into our room. Not knowing what to expect, but knowing the size of a typical hotel room to find not a cave room, but a cave suite was fantastic. It was decorated with class and had all the amenities and then some. The view from our "balcony" was fantastic and a short walk to... more

If you're going to visit Cappadocia, you must stay at Elkep Evi. There are many hotels in Cappadocia, and many that claim they are cave hotels, but Elkep Evi is truly a cave hotel, and a beautiful one, at that. It's intimate and romantic, every spacious room is unique, with floors covered by Turkish rugs and kilims, and lovely terraces... more

I just returned from a 4 night stay at Elkep Evi in Cappadocia. I had the best experience ever. I traveled with a group of 4, and the cave rooms were beautiful, well appointed, very nicely decorated and very clean. The breakfast was a delicious, traditional Turkish breakfast served out in the garden in a beautiful, quiet and romantic setting--... more

I would recommend this lovely hotel. The cave room (the only way to go in Cappadocia) was great! It was cool and nicely decorated. The beds were extremely comfortable. There were plenty of great spots to hang out with a book all over the hotel grounds. The meals (dinner and breakfast) were delicious and were offered in a beautiful setting... more

A cave hotel is the only place to be when visiting this fascinating area of Turkey. If you have problems with stairs, then Elkep Evi isn't the place for you. The hotel is situated at the top of a hill and the views are spectacular. The friendly staff prepares simple but delicious meals. On nice days they are served outside.... more

My fiance and I enjoyed our stay at the Elkep Evi. We spent there three days. The room was very cozy and nice despite in reality it was a real cave. We were greeted upon our arrival by Ferda the hotel manager who was very helpful with our day to day tours and meal plans. We even got a free... more

We visited the Elkep for my boyfriend's birthday and it was such a fantastic surprise. The cave hotel was perfect and my boyfriend absolutely loved it. Great rooms with the most amazing views over the mountains and valleys. Couldn't have picked a more romantic and beautiful place for a few days - wish we had stayed longer. The staff at... more
