We stayed at the Urgup Evi in a cave room for three nights in September. The hotel is very quiet with beautiful views over the valley where you can witness both the hot air balloons in the morning and the sunsets at night. For a hotel with no a /c, no TV, no safe-box, and a weird shower we really... More

Urgup evi is a good option if you want to stay at a cave hotel. Staff are friendly (albeit English is a little limited), rooms are comfortable / well appointed and the hotel is well positioned above Urgup with views of the surrounding countryside. A fixed menu dinner option is available and is worth taking being various combinations of home... More

We had booked a different 'Cave' hotel through a tour operator but due to a misunderstanding we were transferred here and we are so glad we were. The location is fantastic with stunning views from the terraces, especially in the early morning when the hot air balloons appear. The hotel is 10 minutes walk from Urgup and there are excellent... The most beautiful place where we have been in 15 days around in turkey! And the cheaper one! Wonderful room, in a 500 years ago cave, perfect temperature without air conditioned in summer. Big and confortable bed, every day the room has been cleaned, every day a bottle of water, new candles and incense. Very nice furnishings with original carpets... More

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The service was friendly and helpful. We arrived VERY early in the morning (exhausted) and they put us in a room temporarily to sleep until our room was ready. We appreciated the computer available for guests in the livingroom. The breakfast was tasty. Dinner was above average. The hotel is a distance... More

Stayed 3 nights in the Urgup Evi Cave Hotel in April. A unique experience staying in a hotel room carved out of the side of a hill. The room was a good size and comfortable. The central heating failed one night but the family brought down several electric heaters to keep the room cosy. Good filling breakfast ready for the... More

Urgup Evi is a charming cave hotel. The rooms are very spacious and the service was great. We reached the hotel at 10 in the night and it was raining slightly when we reached... the rooms were ready for us and we were shown to our rooms immediately... the staff at the hotel was very courteous and helpful... the breakfast... A unique and fantastic 2 night experience in an extremely comfortable and well appointed hotel. Rooms are spacious with heating, tea and coffee facilities, hair dryer etc. Bed very comfortable. Clean and dry and doesn't smell like a cave! Temp maintained by thick stone walls. Staff friendly and helpful, breakfast and dinner delicious and plentiful. Wine bought to room on... More

This hotel was a little more rustic than I expected but that added to the adventure of it all. Our traveling companions never got the heat to work and we couldn't turn ours off. The hot water was limited. Multi-levels of the floors in the room were a little treacherous. Our bathtub had some mildew but everything was clean. Dinner... More

We had a lovely, 2 night stay here at Urgup Evi. We arrived with one of our travellers having some knee and back issues - Turkey is a very hilly country... and were able to upgrade our room to one with a bath, thanks to the generous courtesy of the receptionist / manager. The rooms themselves are rustic and homely.... More
